  • Perfect Cottage

"If you are looking for a family cottage on a beautiful lake, scenic views, and sandy beaches look no further. The cottage could not be in a better location (walking distance to Glen Arbor restaurants, short drive to the Dune climb, and right on Lake Michigan). Everything you could need was also available at the rental and well maintained. As soon as you walk in you will feel the stress melt away and you can surrender to cottage life as you look out at an amazing vista."

  • Excellent accomodations and location

"We were a large group, but there was never a feeling of being in a tight space in this home. With an upstairs and downstairs gathering area, we could separate as well as choose one area or anther for variety throughout our stay. The outside was large with beautiful country scenery. We enjoyed playing volleyball, throwing the ball around, sitting around the fire pit, and even playing horseshoes (byo). Proximity to town was a straight shot down Mitchell. Wineries, restaurants, breweries were plentiful. Petoskey State Park Beach was great and was complimented by many choices of nearby lakes. A truly wonderful family summer vacation spot!"

  • Everything you need for a Winter Ski-Trip Getaway!

"We all really enjoyed our time here. Plenty of space for us all! Good social areas and places to retreat to get some rest. Quick drive to the Ski Resorts and Hot tub was great! I would definitely choose to stay here again!"

  • Lovely river

"We loved staying at the River House. I can't really add much more to the previous reviews about the house itself - it was more than adequate for our family. The river really was lovely. We went tubing - a fun time, but expect to "walk" your tube through many shallow areas. There are golf courses close enough for those looking for non-fishing activities - as well as Ludington State Park. Nick is good to rent from; he began communicating with us well before our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We would certainly stay there if we were to go back. Thanks Nick."
