  • Pure Michigan, pure joy

"Driving home after spending a week here and already talking about a return visit. We've rented many properties and this one ranks at the top. They've thought of everything and it was nice to have lots of extras.....paper towels, laundry and dish detergent, linens, etc. We took full advantage of the kayaks, canoe and row boat, played games in the yard all week and had fires every evening by the lake. The lake is beautiful and the evening sky and the view is gorgeous. Put down your laptop, IPhone and iPad and take advantage of lake life."

  • Really Enjoyed This Home

"My wife and I and our two adult daughters stayed at Bear Hollow. We had a wonderful vacation. Part of why we enjoyed it so much was this great little cottage. It is a very well maintained property and was very clean when we arrived. And was completely outfitted with everything you would need for the week. From hand soap to kitchen towels to an abundance of bath towels. It was about a 2 minute stroll to the private beach with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. One thing we really enjoyed was walking into downtown Glen Arbor for shopping and dinner. Our favorite place is sitting outside at Art's Tavern. We also enjoyed a hearty breakfast at Art's before heading up to Cathead Bay in Northport to search for Petoskey stones."

  • Quaint cottage nestled in the trees on serene, beautiful lake

"The cottage was clean, beds comfortable, sheets new, and kitchen well-stocked with good equipment and appliances. The place is set well back from the road, among beautiful oaks and pines, with enough space between deck and water for kids to play. The lake is beyond spectacular: clear, shallow water; lovely vistas and a great dock from which to enjoy it all. Yes, some of us got swimmers' itch despite preventative measures, but we weren't uncomfortable for long. Enjoyed feeding the hummingbirds and other song birds, and watching the loon families perch on the neighbor's raft. Proximity to Good Harbor Bay beach and the peninsula's towns were a plus."

  • Bright lakeside property

"Great location for Leelanau wineries, bike trail, Sutton's Bay shopping / restaurants, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Traverse City. Great access to Traverse Bay for swimming and kayaks were a perk! Owners were responsive to needs."
