  • Exactly what an upscale cottage should be

"This home was everything we hoped for. Less than 2 minutes from the village of Suttons Bay we were close to the main artery of the Leelenau Peninsula and had easy access. The home is situated right on Suttons Bay with beautiful views of the bay and sunsets every night. We had three different families travel to meet up for a vacation here and the layout of the home was perfect. A couple bedrooms on one side of the home with a bathroom then the other three bedrooms on the other side with another bathroom. The living area was large and spread out. Perfect for a large group. Something we really enjoyed here was all of the home's decor and history. The linens were high end and there was always a towel when needed. We made use of the washer/dryer for day to day things, very easy to use and in a convenient spot. The lounging area by the bay was also large with many chairs. We kayaked and swam everyday. While we miss there not being a beach as the water comes right up to the seawall it really didn't hinder our usage. The water is still shallow enough that our toddler grandson was able to play in the shallow water. The owner was readily available with any questions we had during our stay and left us ample information on the area in the house for our use. I highly recommend this home especially for a larger family gathering."

  • Great Property, Great Location

"My wife and I stayed in this condo for a little vacation/shopping trip. It was very clean and well appointed. We had a great time, the owners were very attentive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again if it is available."

  • A beauitful retreat in this lovely area of Michigan!

"The Pearl House is a beautiful and private home right in the heart of Leland. This home is truly a home away from home gem. It has a warm and welcoming feel to it as soon as you step inside. The owners have done a wonderful job of creating a home that offers all travelers a place to rest, enjoy and create a lifetime of family memories. It’s large enough to accommodate more than one family with children or could be a lovely retreat for a couple who wants to be tucked away in a private place all their own. It’s super clean, very comfortable and there’s plenty of rooms and space for everyone to enjoy. There’s even a lovely front porch to sit out on and enjoy your morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine from a local winery. I would highly recommend this place as a great home base for exploring Leland and the surrounding areas of Traverse City. The beauty of up north Michigan is all within driving distance from this beautiful home. A must place to stay if you’re visiting in the area!"

"We decided to do a girls weekend her and had a great time!! The view is incredible! It had plenty of room for all of us! I love the convince of the market 22 across the street. We drove to Traverse on Saturday which was only a half hour away and it was a beautiful drive! We had dinner in Glen Arbor, went to the distillary, did some wine tasting etc.. We made a fire in the wood fireplace which was a great end to a very fun day!!"
