  • River's Edge Cottage at Goldberry Woods

"This cottage worked wonderfully for our family! We had three couples and each couple had there own bedroom, that are very comfortable and spacious. We had 5 kids that slept in the bunk room on the other side of the cottage. It is very big bunk room with lots of extra space for the kids to play. We never felt crowded at all, because the layout is very open. It also has lots of dining space with a huge dining room and the screened in patio. We saved a lot of money on this trip by bringing our own food and using the grill and kitchen, and had smores over the fire pit. Julie and Eric are great hosts and provide a lot of extras like bikes, games, and canoes. The entire property is full of nature and is nice and private. It is also centrally located to so many activities from a day at the beach, to kayaking, Berry picking, wineries and breweries, antique shops, and even a casino. Lots of great ice cream parlors as well. Would highly recommend this cottage for a wonderful family vacation."

  • Pretty Place

"Booked this for a sister and mother getaway. I ended up unable to attend due to illness but my four sisters and mom said the cottage was beautiful and decorated very well. Their only complaints were that there weren't enough washcloths and towels, no real view of the lake, too many steps to the beach and wished for better drapes for the windows for privacy. Otherwise they felt it was a nice place for a getaway."

  • Peaceful Digs

"I was in a scramble to find a house for a girls weekend that didn't require a weeks stay and we found this gem! House and beds were nicely kept. Perfectly accommodated 10 people comfortably. Plenty of activities on site and close to downtown new buffalo and the wineries! Would stay again."

  • Loved the entire property & the location

"My husband & I loved the Alex Cottage! It was perfect for our needs, which was just for a weekend getaway. Even though it was October, we still took long walks on the beach & even walked down to sit & listen to the waves in the dark late at night, so the proximity to the beach was great. Because it was an unusually warm weekend, the heat did not need to be on in the cottage when we arrived, but after a quick phone call to the office, to learn how to turn it down, that problem was solved in no time. My only complaint is that it would be better if there was actually a regular sized couch to sit on instead of a love seat & some chairs. I was also interested in looking at the other houses on the property, to possibly rent in the future with the rest of my family, & after making another call to the office, we were given access to be able to tour the Sawyer & the Brandon houses. (The Grace was occupied) They were both absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the lake. We hope to be able to return & stay at any of the properties in the future with more members of our family. We are frequent visitors to the area & so far this is my favorite place that we have stayed."
