  • Great Family Vacation

"Cute home in the heart of Union Pier. Literally down the street to the steps to Lake Michigan made for lazy days at the beach for our family super easy to walk to, and enjoyable. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen, which had everything we needed to make our meals, and we enjoyed being able to eat them in the enclosed porch. The beds were comfortable, and the home was very clean and comfortable for our vacation. The home was very spacious, and the yard was large and spacious. The fire pit is an added bonus. We went to Milda's Deli up the road from the house and had great eats and were very impressed with the coffee selection. Very impressive to find good coffee within walking distance from the beach! Great home. We will be back soon! Thank you Waya Rentals for making the vacation rental home search easy and no stress. Your office staff were prompt to respond to emails from the start of our vacation planning to the end of our stay. They also know the area well and were able to recommend some good places to check out."

  • Cozy, clean and comfortable.

"We spent a very nice long weekend at Union Pier, with East of Eden as our home base. The cottage is just the right size for two adults. With a single bathroom I would not recommend it for more than a family with very small children if at all. We had our 55# Lab with us and he was quite comfortable, although the nearest dog friendly beach was some drive away. The cottage is very clean, nicely updated and thoughtfully equipped for an extended stay. You can get peace and quiet prior to the end of May but we suspect after that it's going to be a lively place. The owners were especially nice and we felt as if they are loaning us their cottage for the weekend."

  • Great summer get away less then 2 hours from Chicago

"This was our first time at this cottage and in Union Pier and we loved both. The cottage is rustic and very cozy and just minutes walking distance from the beach. We enjoyed the gazebo on the premises and our kids loved running around in the large yard and play in the hammock. The kitchen had plenty of amenities, including pots and pans, plenty of plates and glasses and silverware. The cottage is comfortable enough to live in the entire summer, and happens to be minutes from a number of good restaurants, as well as wineries, upicks and New Buffalo. We would love to be back."

  • Great weekend getaway!

"We visited this rental home just for a long weekend and had a blast. The house was super cozy and inviting. We wished we would have been able to stay longer! The location was very close to Downtown New Buffalo and was even close to take a drive up to St Joe, which is what we decided to do! Would definitely want to visit again in the summer since we went in more of an off season but all together this was great and we would definitely do it again. Waya Rentals was great to work with in providing information on things to do as well. Great experience!"
