  • Our favorite cottage in Union Pier!

"This was our fourth time staying at The Four Season Bungalow and again it exceed our expectations. Chris is such a lovely host who truly cares about your comfort and enjoyment of his home and the surrounding areas. I probably emailed him 5-6 times prior to our arrival with silly little questions and he was very quick and gracious in getting back to me. Once we arrived, we were very pleased to see how well maintained the house is...and we were thrilled with all of the upgrades including a new island and beautifully expanded screened in porch. We lazed our days away on the beach, napping on the screened in porch, visiting the local micro-distillery The Journeyman and hitting our fave spots including: Red Arrow Roadhouse and The Whistlestop. Our children played in the sand and we enjoyed stunning sunsets. Pure Michigan indeed."

  • Great Weekend Getaway

"Our group of 14 plus a baby had a fantastic time- lots of space, plenty of games and puzzles, and warm and cozy spaces in the hot tub and by the fire. Thanks for a wonderful space."

  • Girls' Weekend

"Rented for a 40th birthday/girls' weekend, Cedar Lodge turned out to be perfect. Easy to locate and a quick trip from Chicago. The rustic interior decoration, fireplace and outdoor fire pit made for a cozy fall weekend. The bedrooms, bathrooms and dining area were just right for six adults. We spent very little time away from the house and found the provided kitchen appliances and utensils met our needs for cooking lovely meals. A wonderful time was had by all!"

  • Cute cottage with a great location

"We enjoyed our week in Cottage C. It's roomy and comfortable on the whole. The layout is a little odd--with two bedrooms and two bathrooms off the kitchen--but it worked surprisingly well to allow everyone privacy and quiet after the kids went to sleep. We loved the outdoor spaces--all the decks and the patio, and especially the little screened porch off the master bedroom. The community of cottages is adorable and quiet (despite one very sour neighbor who seemed offended by our very existence and lost her head when my husband mistakenly came into the parking lot through the exit--God forbid!). I do wish the kitchen were a little more accommodating: Even with all of our meals prepared or prepped in advance, I struggled a little. And I was disappointed by the cleanliness when we arrived: When I wiped off the kitchen table, the cloth came away brown (Yuck!), and the kitchen trash can lid looked like it had never been cleaned before. On the upside, though, it's less than 1/4 mile to the beach at McKinley Street (which is by far the better of the two nearby beaches--quiet and sandy), an easy and pleasant walk. You can literally come here, park your car, and never drive anywhere all week since little restaurants and shops are a half mile down Townline. It's a great spot, on the whole."
