  • Comfortable vacation home in Union Pier

"Our family had a great time staying at Aiden's Cottage in Union Pier. 10 minute walk to one of the public beaches in Union Pier, where we spent time everyday to enjoy the sun, water, and sunsets. Many families use this beach but we were always able to find a spot. Also a 10 min walk to the businesses in Union Pier, which include a dinner spot (Frankie's)and a general store with basic necessities like coffee, milk, eggs, etc. our favorite part of the home was the large enclosed deck off the kitchen, close to the grill and hot tub, which we used almost daily. Comfortably slept my wife and me and 4 adult children."

  • Pretty Place

"Booked this for a sister and mother getaway. I ended up unable to attend due to illness but my four sisters and mom said the cottage was beautiful and decorated very well. Their only complaints were that there weren't enough washcloths and towels, no real view of the lake, too many steps to the beach and wished for better drapes for the windows for privacy. Otherwise they felt it was a nice place for a getaway."

  • Great place to Gather with Family

"We were already familiar with this rental house after spending time there with a friend on two other occasions. Having enjoyed our time there it came to mind when we were looking for a place to 'get away' for a few days mid-week with our children and grand children. There were ten of us total. Six adults and four children. Perfect bedroom set up for all of us. Great kitchen to spend time gathered around the large island. The kitchen was well furnished with all you could need. From utensils to dishwasher. Lots of dishes, etc. Two porches, front and back (back is large screened in porch) to sit on and enjoy the views. We happened to have beautiful October days and enjoyed going for walks down to the lake and exploring the quiet neighborhood. My husband and I (grandparents) stayed in the large master bedroom that had a sliding door out to the screened in porch. Great Master bath. Both sets of parents had their own rooms and then the children (two in each room) had their own rooms. Idea for our family group. We brought some prepared meals like chili and soup and pasta, so not a lot of prep and cooking. Just heating up. Plus we went out to eat. Good restaurants in the area. Plus you can order, pick up and bring in food. The whole house is set up wonderfully with lots of space to gather. A fireplace in the living room and a fire pit outside. We used both. We brought the packaged pressed logs for the living room fireplace so we didn't have to bother with wood inside. The home was clean and well maintained. Lots of space for the children to play in the downstairs basement. Plus pool table that the men really enjoyed (girls too). We took lots of pictures and made some great family memories. Can't wait to go back. We all agreed we could have stayed longer. Next time. :)"

  • Great location and everything you need in the cottage

"My family and I stayed at this cottage and it was great. It is close to the beach, it has a nice screened in porch which came in very handy and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is small but adequate. The only suggestion I would make is to maybe put in a gas grill, since a charcoal grill is a bit of a hassle, and when you come back from the beach you want to get dinner ready fast."
