  • Far Far view Great views and Beautiful Sunsets

"Great Place for a family vacation, we had our daughters their husbands, and grand kids everybody enjoyed themselves, Rodeo, Silverlake sand dunes, fishing and long days at the beach. The walk to the lighthouse is about 45 minutes beautiful relaxing walk went twice. The Lake House was clean and had everything we needed to cook and grill out. Pentwater is a nice town to visit and do some shopping about a half hour away, some nice restaurants where you can set outside and enjoy the day. The house was great, the kitchen was perfect the private beach was the best , quite and relaxing, have to say one of our best family vacations ever. Dont forget to stop at the Cherry Point and the Fox Farms winery, had a great time would go back in a minute. Pure Michigan at its best !!!!"

  • Get away from the real world to a beautiful, relaxing locale

"Stayed here for a week with our four-month old and parents and sister/husband and couldn't have been more happy with the house! The view was just breath-taking at times out the huge windows. You could see Silver Lake, the dunes, and Lake Michigan a couple miles (maybe even less?) away which was perfect because it was away from the hustle and bustle you have when you stay in a tourist town. But you were still minutes away from the dunes which made it very convenient. There was a walk-in closet off the master suite that we used to put up the provided pack-and-play and it made for a great baby room. The rest of the house was perfect for our group (seven). There was plenty of room and we never felt like we were crowded. A couple words of caution - the road up to the cabin is a sand drive-way that if you are driving a low sports car...it probably won't work too well, but any other vehicle, take it slow and and it's no problem! Also, there are alot of stairs to climb in the house, especially if you are staying on the master floor (four flights total). It's built on a hill so that is to be expected and I was happy to get the extra steps, but if you have trouble with stairs, this might not be the place for you. Overall - we could not have been more happy with our stay. It really was a splendid getaway!"
