  • Beautiful Lake Home in the Woods

"This house has everything you need for a relaxing vacation with family and friends. Beautifully built and furnished, the house has 3 separate floors in which to find your own space if needed. The hot tub was a real hit for the kids. Both Gary and Wendy were super nice and accommodating-very easy to reach when needed. The pontoon is HUGE and comfortable, too. You do need the golf cart to get to the lake, but that was actually a fun ride. This is a wonderful retreat. You will be amazed."

  • Great spot to relax

"Ron and Michelle's cabin, bunk house and shore house on Norway Lake is awesome. I stayed for 7 weeks and enjoyed the wildlife, peace and quiet. It is right next to the boat landing so is at the end of the road which adds to the peacefulness. Ron and next door neighbor , Donni, took care of everything that I needed. It was a great summer on the lake!"

  • What a wonderful vacation!

"This was my first time visiting in Minnesota and the occasion was a family reunion organized by my niece who owns a cabin on nearby Daggert Lake. Peaceful Pines was the perfect location for my family and the cabin itself was all it was advertised to be. The kitchen has nearly new and modern appliances and is fully stocked with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishware, etc. We were a party of five adults and one infant and although the upstairs bedrooms are somewhat small, the cabin accommodated us very comfortably. For me, the most outstanding feature of this cabin is its location. The cabin faces west and the view of the sun setting over the lake each evening is spectacular. The cabin's shore front is all smooth sand all the way to the end of the dock, allowing for very pleasant swimming. I don't own a boat, but my niece came by with hers and we utilized the boat lift once or twice for an easy docking experience. Food stores, restaurants and shops are just a short distance from the cabin and there is even a small playground for young children within walking distance. All in all it was a great place for a family vacation and I highly recommend it."

  • Beautiful week on Ox Lake

"This is a lovely old lake home with some modern updates. It has a lovely calm feel to the house. Our group of 9 really enjoyed themselves. We loved eating on the deck and taking in the beautiful view. We were lucky that the weather was very moderate (low 80's) and that it cooled off nicely at night. The many ceiling fans kept the temperature very comfortable. On the not so lucky side, there was a huge hatch of mosquitos --the grocery store was sold out of bug spray! We managed pretty well and all brought home numerous bites. This is just Mother Nature and not anything that could be controlled. We also enjoyed using the kayaks, Stand up paddle board and canoes. Our kids are all adults but that doesn't mean they don't like extra water toys! The raft off shore was also enjoyed and utilized. A wonderful family week at the lake."
