  • Beautiful and comfortable setting enjoyed by all my family!

"Our family really enjoyed the comforts and many amenities of this beautiful lake home. The home is tastefully decorated so you get the feel of being immersed in the beauty of nature. The grassy area down by the lake provided a great place to play yard games and enjoy an evening fire in the fire pit. A number of water toys were provided which added to our enjoyment. We definitely hope to make this a yearly destination."

  • Wonderful Retreat!

"Our family of five (children 17, 20, 21) enjoyed a wonderful week at this cabin. The accommodations were exactly as described, which were perfect for our needs and the owners were pleasant and and very accommodating. The water pressure was excellent which was surprising given the cabin was built so long ago. We loved it's layout and really enjoyed the front porch overlooking the lake. We felt like we were at a mini resort with all the lakeside amenities and the lake itself is beautiful and quiet. We made frequent boat trips on the chain, but always enjoyed the peacefulness of returning to our quaint get-away. We saw countless eagles and deer while we enjoyed the spacious dock. It was nice to sit down there at night and see the stars so vividly. Kate was so kind in mailing my husband's hat he left behind. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again!! Thank you so much!!!"

  • Impeccable property perfect for large groups!

"This beautiful lake home was amazing for our recent winter getaway with our group of four families. Very kid-friendly! More than enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. Sledding, ice skating and cross-country skiing mere feet from the front door. All of us would love to stay here again!"

  • Quaint Roomy Cabin, Great Value!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was obvious that the owners had put a lot of love and effort into creating a place that was warm and inviting. We really liked how the cabin was decorated, especially some of the small touches, ie: the antler paper towel holder, the old sleds and skis on the wall of the porch, and the modern updates to the kitchen and guest bathroom were noticeable and wonderful! The washer & dryer was a bonus and came in handy mid-week. We chose the front bedroom because it had one whole wall of windows so we could wake up in the morning to a beautiful view of the lake. PS: We have never heard or seen so many loons! The yard on the lakeside was probably our favorite place. The cabin is situated just above the lake, which made for great views. There are some stairs leading down to the dock, probably less than one flight, which we found totally manageable even carrying coolers and gear. There wasn't a designated beach area, and up near the shore, there were some small rocks, but just a little further out, the bottom was hard and sandy and the water was very clear. You could swim off the dock, or easily find a place on the lake to pull up and swim. The entire lake chain was sandy, and the water clarity was incredible! We looked forward to sitting in the swing overlooking the lake each night to watch the sunsets. The swing faced directly west and was hidden behind some big trees for privacy from the neighbors. We made use of the fire-pit almost every night we were there, and were able to grill and eat on the outdoor table on the stone patio one night. We biked into town and visited some of the antique shops, and had lunch one day at Andy’s Bar & Grill. We spent a lot of time on the pontoon boat which was provided, even when it rained and the wind was blowing. We explored all the lakes (14 of them I think), pulled up on a sandbar for a picnic, did some fishing (we caught a 36-1/2” Northern), ate at the Wharf restaurant right on the water, and stopped at the Manhattan Beach Lodge for a visit to the Tiki Hut where the owner's friend Darryl mixed us up a couple of long island iced teas. We sipped our drinks while sitting in a couple of Adirondack chairs as we gazed out at the lake - so nice! Overall, we had a wonderful time. There were a few housekeeping issues that the owners helped us with when we arrived, and some others that we shared with them that they assure us will be taken care of in the very near future."
