  • A Great Week at Diamond Cove

"My family and I just returned from a week at Diamond Cove. We would go back. The cabin was clean and everything was in working order. We met the owners upon our arrival and they were very welcoming. I spent the week fishing for muskies and was able to land three in that time (many more follows and a couple of lost opportunities). The cabin is nicely located and one can be casting for muskies in short order. It is also nice and close to Moosebirds (ice cream run) and The Landing (burgers). The boathouse was perfect as it kept things nice and dry. Thanks for a great week."

  • Our favorite place on the trail!

"This was our third stay at Scott and Anna's cottage and our best trip by far. Visiting the trail and staying at the cottage is something we look forward to every year. For the past couple of years, we've taken the Crab Lake trail and canoed Loon Lake, but this year we switched things up and rented a boat on Gunflint Lake (only $20/hr and so worth it) and took the boat to the Bridal Falls hike. The falls aren't flowing as well in the fall but it was still a fun little hike. The best part of this trip was finding the High Cliffs trail behind the Gunflint lodge. The views are worth the uphill hike, and we got engaged at the top of the cliffs this year! We celebrated with great company at the Hungry Jack Lodge (our new favorite spot to eat and drink on the trail) and even caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Thanks, as always, Scott and Anna for providing such a wonderful getaway. This is one year we won't forget!"

  • Cozy Memorial Day

"We had such a wonderful weekend! It was our one-year anniversary and the cabin was the perfect get-away. It rained for much of our stay, but we enjoyed hanging out by the big indoor fireplace, reading by the big windows, and hiking by Cascade Falls once the weather cleared. The owner was always quick to respond and very helpful. The outside of the cabin could use a little TLC, and the mattresses could stand to be updated, but other than that everything was perfect! Grand Marais was just a short drive away, where we got groceries, hung out at the brewery and coffee house, and did some shopping. Best of all, we LOVED the backyard access to Lake Superior and the private rock shoreline where we watched the waves and stargazed at night. We would DEFINITELY recommend staying here!"

  • Great place to spend a weekend

"Amazing setup. Our group couldn't believe our eyes when we pulled into the driveway and took a look at the cabin in person. Gorgeous! After stepping inside to settle in, we continued to be pleasantly surprised by the property. I'd definitely stay at this cabin again. The only downside to the property is the distance that you have to carry all of your belongings from the car to the cabin."
