  • October stay

"We all enjoyed our stay. Some remodeling going on but it did not interfere with the main house. What happened to the Atari :) We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others. Mike was vary easy to work with. Thanks!"

  • Love it!

"This is the second time I have stayed at this cabin, and I just love it! I spent a long weekend with my 2 Border Collies hiking and relaxing in the remote peace and quiet. The cabin is comfy and cozy, and is nicely stocked wtih plenty of cooking and eating supplies and nice dry firewood for use in the outdoor firepit, the indoor wood stove and the amazing sauna. The owners are great, very responsive and helpful, even sending a video to ensure I knew how to unlock the very tricky gate. The dogs and I spent our days hiking for hours on the neverending 4 wheeler trails, and our nights relaxing with a fire. We never saw a soul, and it was a great way to spend a long weekend. I would highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a remote, peaceful getaway, and I hope to keep taking advantage of this gem as often as I can!"

  • Beautiful home - perfect for your stay in Duluth

"This home was perfect. Very spacious, clean, and made us feel at home in Duluth. We had a car with easy street parking, but it is a short walk to the downtown area. The kitchen had all the necessities. The owner, Dave, was communicative and responsive. It is a corner lot, so the yard is nice and big. If you want a relaxing stay in a vintage/historic home, we would recommend staying here. We would absolutely stay here again!"

  • Fastidious, snuggy-warm hundred-year old fisherman's cabin

"Three writers booked this hideaway for three days in the Fall. It was spacious enough for us to have private space to write, the gas fireplace kept us warm in the cool weather, the well-stocked kitchen allowed us to cook our favorite foods, and it was close enough to the big lake and hiking trails for times when we wanted to get some fresh air. This place is big enough for a group of 9, or a small group like ours. We definitely will return!"
