  • Spectacular scenery with Charming accommodations

"We were so fortunate to have discovered this vacation home! It was so charming - an idyllic North Shore cabin! Very clean and spacious too. Lutsen and surrounding towns are wonderful. The food, shopping, scenery and outdoor activities are second to none. We especially enjoyed Hughies Tacos and Cook County Whole Foods Cafe in Grand Marais and Moguls Grille & Tap Room in Lutsen. We were very impressed with the skiing at Lutsen Mountain as well. We are already planning our next stay and are excited to share it with our children this time too."

  • Great home for group

"Class of 74 gals celebrated birthdays together by renting a home on Lake Superior. The Cedar Cliff Retreat was perfect for this occasion. Fully furnished and comfortable for our group of 9-we could have had more as home is big! Saturday after big breakfast we headed out to see the sights such as Temperance State Park & Gooseberry Falls. After a full day of exploring went back to grill burgers and eat some more! Huge table to play games and later in evening many of us headed down by the shore and used the fire pit. Also house has 2 porches that are screened to enjoy the outdoors but not worry about mosquitos."

  • Great Family Accomodations!

"We had a fantastic week at this wonderfully clean and comfortable cabin home! It had everything we needed for our family group of 9! We especially appreciated the lower level for our teenage children who enjoyed the pool table and hockey table!! The kids also enjoyed exploring the creek area behind the cabin which was beautiful. The kitchen is very spacious and so are the bedrooms! The lower level bedrooms accommodated the 5 kids well (3 teen boys and 2 tween girls) and they loved the movie room too! This cabin is in the perfect location to go to Lutsen Mountain or Grand Marais and really close to many state parks and waterfalls!! We enjoyed days out exploring and nights watching the Olympics and campfires. The furniture including the beds was extremely comfortable! It was great to have access to the washing machines too! Our only recommendation is for guests to bring a small fan for the lower level bedrooms if you are there in the summer. We had ours along and it helped move the air in the lower level rooms at night. There were plenty of blankets and pillows and again it was great to be able to do loads of laundry to wash towels. Otherwise it was super comfortable and we are hoping to go back again next August! Thank you to the Amundson’s for sharing their beautiful cabin with us. We took great care of it. The description of the cabin was spot on. Great customer service...this was easier than booking a hotel room. The Bristol Family"
