  • Romantic weekend

"My husband and I were lucky enough to find this gem. It is perfectly appointed, completely private and is everything I could have asked for and more. The property has an amazing view of the mighty Mississippi from the porch where you will likely have your morning coffee. If you venture out at sunset rest assured Ms. Carol has insect spray in the kitchen so you won't be bothered by the mosquitoes. The owners have literally thought of everything. There were binoculars for bird watching, suggestions for restaurants, a variety of breakfast and snack items and so much more. The sun porch is perfect for a good book or a nap. I took advantage of the claw foot tub after sight seeing and hubby enjoyed not missing the football game on the TV. Thank you so much Ms. Carol for sharing your slice of heaven with us for our anniversary!!"

  • Step Back In Time

"This charming house was perfect for our Natchez stay. Just two couples wanting to experience the history of Natchez. Not only did we visit historic sites, we stayed in one of them! The backyard is so private and peaceful, the decor was awesome, and Jackie, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I would highly recommend this little gem if you are looking for the perfect Natchez experience."

  • Beautiful view cozy house

"We enjoyed the place very much. Awesome view of the lake. Drive to town was not bad 20/30 mins depending where you wanted to go. Nice back yard would be great for a family vacation. Pier was nice to dock our boat for the stay. Peir looked great for summer time fun. Boat house was a little short for an 18' bass boat but still kept it mostly dry during the rainy days. Inside had ample kitchen utensils for cooking etc. plenty of bath towels and blankets were also available. We rated 4 stars only because the beds were not the best. More than acceptable to sleep but not up to our normal comfort level. Would have been nice to have a queen in one of the rooms. Also one of the full bed frames was loose and needed to be tightened. Would have given 5 stars if the beds would have been nicer and not so squishy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and hopefully will return to lake St. John one day."

"My family came for the weekend to get away from the fact that most of us that dealt with a flood recently. It was the perfect little get away. The house and property are gorgeous. There isn't anything we didn't like. We will definitely be back!!!"
