  • Great property and owner

"We stayed here earlier this month and made it our "base camp" for excursions to Glacier Nat. Park, Whitefish, and Bigfork. It's 10 mins. from the airport which made it really convenient. Grocery store close by and lots of stores in Kalispell actually. The house was perfectly maintained and most everything seemed new. Had pretty much all the accessories you'd need for the stay. Beautiful view from the family room of the mountains, very picturesque. Karen was extremely prompt in all of her replies if we had any questions. I'd highly recommend to anybody looking for a trip in that area."

  • Sweet gem of a house

"This house was a great accommodation. It was very obvious that much love and care went in to restoring and furnishing it. The furnishings were comfortable and like new for the most part. There were personal touches throughout the house which made it feel like you were staying in a good friend's home, not a rental house. The mattresses and bedding were a big grade above what one usually finds in a rental house and the house was spotless. The bathrooms were clean and tidy with nice towels and small toiletries. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need and even had both a traditional coffee maker and a Kuerig coffee maker which was a thoughtful touch since we only had one coffee drinker in our party. The only downside to the house was the required on-street parking. Because we stayed in February, there was significant snow and cold weather. While the short walkway in front of the house had been shoveled and only had minimal snow, the sidewalk in front of the house from the street to the walk was covered in several inches of snow and ice. We had to lift suitcases over snowbanks from the road and through the snow and ice covered sidewalks, which was a bit hazardous and could have been prevented with a few minutes of shoveling by the owners. Doesn't city ordinance require homeowners to clear their sidewalks of snow in Kalispell? There was quite a lot of traffic on the one way road around the house as the house is located across the street from a church and school and two blocks from the high school. With the traffic, snow and ice covered roads, and snowbanks on the sides of the road, the on street parking in the winter has the potential to be hazardous for older folks or small children. One other winter inconvenience we encountered was a thermostat set to 50 degrees when we arrived at the house. Everything in the house was just thoroughly took until well into the night to chase the chill out of the floors and walls of this older house. Perhaps the thermostat should be turned up before scheduled arrivals..."

  • Unforgettable Montana vacation!

"My family had an unforgettable vacation at the cabin! Being from Ohio, I wanted them to have a real Montana experience, and this was it. The cabin is beautifully restored and comfortable, yet offers that rustic Montana feel, complete with horses and longhorn cattle right outside. The kids loved the animals and visited with them every day. The location is perfect. It is close to both Kalispell and Whitefish for shopping and night life, yet when you return to the cabin you feel like you have a piece of Montana to yourselves under the vastness of the big sky. Martin Creek Road was nice for morning walks. The caretaker was always available and incredibly helpful. We highly recommend staying here!"

  • Wonderful Accommodations

"Craig and Susanne have a wonderful guest house with all the amenities we required for our Christmas ski vacation and more. We had lots of room for our university aged children to hang out and we all enjoyed the vistas. It is in an excellent location with easy access to Kalispell and Whitefish. Can't wait to come back again next year!"
