  • Great Property, Great Location, Amazing Views

"I came here for a dads and kids vacation -- four dads, 10 kids, three days skiing big sky. The weather couldn't have been better for skiing. The cabin was great with all the amenities and a thorough and thoughtful amount of basic necessities that were well organized and easy to find. The location was easy to find and the extra land allowed the kids to play outside and sled after skiing (where do they get all that energy). The one hiccup for us that isn't so much an issue of the cabin per se, but is important for early and late season guests to understand, is that just because Big Sky resort is open doesn't mean that the Cascade lift (that you need to ride in order to ski in the Sky Haus) is running and that the ski paths down to the resort are being groomed. Unfortunately that meant that the cabin wasn't ski-in-ski-out as we had planned. Rather than ski to and from the cabin with all the kids, we had to bundle everyone up, navigate parking at the resort, and have the hassle of getting everyone back to the cars (luckily for us, but also adding to the hassle, in massive snowstorms) at the end of the day. Not what we had planned and not really what we paid for (there are a lot of places that are cheap down in the Meadow if you're going to have to commute by car to the resort). Truthfully that was important enough to us that we would have rented a different place if we had known that's what we were getting. In fact we would rent a different place if we were going in the first or last two weeks of the season in the future. But, provided you are going mid-season or during the summer when lift service to Big Sky isn't important, this place was magnificent. For all but about those four weeks of skiing when the house is not ski-in-ski-out, this place is everything you would want and better than advertised!"

  • Epic Ski Week

"I have grown up skiing and traveled across the western U.S. and Canada to many resorts and stayed at many places, but the week my friends and family spent here was by far the best ski week of my life. We had fantastic views, clean and comfortable accomadations, and epic powder every day that we skied! The hot tub was excellent to come home to each night and relax our bodies, so we could step out the door and ski from first lift to last each day."

  • Wonderful Big Sky Mountain Home

"Beautiful home located on very private acreage in the mountains with direct access to the Beehive Basin Trail. The views are fantastic and wildlife abundant in the area. The home is well appointed and very comfortable for a large group, and the kitchen has everything you need for those that like to cook. Great location to explore the Big Sky area and all that it has to offer. Our group took advantage of many activities in the area including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, zip lining, fly fishing and exploring Yellowstone. The house is a perfect home base with easy access to lots of activities around Big Sky. The large deck, hot tub and fire pit were enjoyed by all every night during our stay. I would highly recommend this home for a large group as there is lots of room to spread out on 3 levels. The owner is great to work with and the home is very well maintained. We look forward to returning for another visit one day."

  • Moosewood Meadows A

"We enjoyed this property! The master suite was amazing and the immense windows in the living room were beautiful though they did cause the loft sleeper to wake extra early since there are no window treatments. On the upside he decided to sit in the hot tub in the early morning hours and saw a moose walking by the creek! We left the garage door open when we went into town and told those that stayed behind to shut it for us. They didn't get around to closing it immediately and when they went out to do so a fox was in the garage! Lucky for us it wasn't a bear so remember to close the garage door immediately upon departure anywhere! The wireless key entry system was super helpful since we had a late arrival our first night but staff showed up the next day to ask if we had any questions or needed anything so that was great. My sister did say she had cold showers the entire weekend and my brother in law had one cold shower though he said it felt nice. We also had a few lights bulbs that were out but nothing major to complain about. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, the only problem we had was that it went by way too fast!"
