  • Perfect location, very clean condo

"I really enjoyed my stay at this condo, everything worked out great. There are a few things that detracted from a perfect experience, but overall a great vacation. If you plan to ski Heavenly, I don't think you'll be able to find a better location. Positives: - Great location! If you like to ski at Heavenly, you're 100 feet from getting on to the slopes. You're also a mile or so away from the Boulder chair if you have any beginners, which is a great spot for learning to ski. - Very clean! Living areas were well cleaned, bedrooms were nicely arranged, the bathrooms had plenty of towels. You wouldn't think this condo allows pets./ - Parking was very easy and plentiful. Negatives: - The ceiling must be pretty thin because we heard the footstep from above. We had someone living or staying above us stomping around until 1am the first night, which was quite annoying. Our kids didn't seem to notice, but the noise kept me up. - I didn't get info on the house (address, directions, check-in instructions, etc) up through the day before I left, so I had to email the owner. I did receive the instructions by the next morning, which was appreciated, but I was a little nervous about it. The communications could be a little better. Also note that there are 3 flights of stairs to get the condo, which could make it difficult if you are disabled. There is an elevator, but you have to go up one flight to get to the elevator."

  • Great location, difficult stairs

"Loved this house. It slept all 9 of the people who went on the trip with room to spare. The kitchen had all of the necessary supplies for cooking easy dinners. There was a technical glitch with my app and I didn't receive the front door lock code before trying to check in, but the property manager was responsive and got back to us immediately. The only downside (and the reason I'm not giving 5 stars) was the 3 flights of stairs you had to climb to get from the parking lot to the lower sliding door were COVERED in snow and ice. Tahoe had a crazy high snow season this year, and it was obvious that no one in the building had shoveled any of the snow. It was deep and really icy. Luckily everyone in my group was 23-25 years old and had no problem climbing up them. I did take a shovel from downstairs and shovel a good amount off though."

  • Great ski location, good value for money. However, no internet and kitchen needs improvement

"Pros: Great location in the winters for ski and snowboarders - short walk to stagecoach. The place is also spacious, comfortable and clean. Cons: Fairly minor but worth mentioning. There was no internet in the house (we were warned in advance that internet would be inconsistent) but the owner did not provide us with internet credentials at all, and was non responsive when I asked for it. Also in case you plan to cook during your trip, I'd warn you that most pots were rusted, and the oven would not shut completely. Dish washer almost came apart but does the job. A few updates to the appliances would make this place an ideal vacation rental!"
