  • This is a wonderfully equipped and well maintained property that exceeded our expectations.

"We chose this property for our family reunion based upon size and location, and found that, and so much more. With more than a few "foodies" in the group, we found the kitchen to be exceptionally well equipped with everything needed to fix great meals, and more than enough china, glassware, and serving pieces to go around. Ditto for linens. But by far the best aspect was the location, close to the water but not on it, because we had a lot of little kiddies who played very happily on the lovely front lawn , and did not need to be watched every minute as they would have had to be on the water. The short walk from the house was not onerous, but was a great buffer, as we were either at the house, or on the dock, as a group. The swimming area was easy for them to access with the ladder, and the wide wonderful dock was great for the adults to relax on while supervising. We had almost no rain, but if we had, the little areas in the house set aside with toys and games would have amused them for hours. It seemed that everyone, young and old , found their favorite nook or cranny for relaxing, both inside and out . The walkers among us enjoyed the quiet roads for their constitutionals. As a family who love this lake , and have rented many varied properties on both the east and west shores over many years, this property was by far the best. Cynthia Matheke"

"My family of four rented the house for 6 weeks to enjoy the ski season at Mount Sunapee. We were pleased with the close proximity to the mountain. It was a hassle free 5 minute ride. The home is cozy yet spacious with plenty of room for all of us to spread our wings. It was nice to have 3 full bathrooms. The bedding is new and comfortable. Everyone slept well at night since the home is secluded with very quiet surroundings. Jen the owner was always helpful and responsive before our arrival and during our stay if we had questions about the house or property. The house is nicely stocked to make your stay easy and convenient. We would rent this house again in the future."

  • Great place!

"We had three families staying at this house and we enjoyed every minute. The house was totally updated, clean and decorated very nicely. It was close to Mt. Sunapee for skiing which was why we wanted to stay here. The road going to the house was very steep, so I bet when it snows it is helpful to have 4 wheel drive. I imagine coming here in the summer would be nice as well to take advantage of the lake. I would definitely rent here again!"

  • Fantastic family holiday home on the best bit of beautiful Lake Sunapee

"We had the most wonderful family reunion at this gem of a holiday home, located on the upscale quiet Jobs Creek (part of Lake Sunapee). The house and setting are lovely with loons and chipmunks and bullfrogs - and one of the best private docks on the lake! The hosts were friendly and we were treated like treasured guests with logs for the fire and access to the record player + old vinyl albums! The kitchen is not super-modern but overall the furnishings were of high quality. Our only negative was the high cost of renting the additional bunkhouse as it was not built to the same quality and it smelled musty."
