  • Perfect!!

"My husband and I stayed at this cozy cottage this past weekend with our two daughters and our yellow lab. This cottage and the location is absolutely perfect for a quiet get-away. It was private, clean, and had everything you could ever need. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock during the day and making smores by the fire at night. Our daughters especially loved paddling around the lake in the pedal boat. We also went swimming!! The owners are very pleasant and accommodating. We look forward to returning. - thank you!!"

  • Great Family Retreat

"it just dawned on me that we had not submitted a review when my sister in law and I were talking about trying to do another vacation and reflected back on this one Our family, my husband's sister and family as well as their parents all came together here. We had a total of 11 people in our group (5 teenagers/6 adults). We spent a week at the house and had a wonderful time. The weather was a bit cool for the time of year but we still managed to have fun on the lake and around town. We towed our boat and were able to keep it at the dock. We took a couple of trips to Wolfeboro by boat and traveled to Meredith one day. The kids had a great time tubing in spite of the chilly weather. The house was great for all of us. Plenty of room in the kitchen and dining area, a great living room to hang out but the best was the screened in porch. We ate many of our meals out there and just hung out. We were fortunate to have a couple of incredible sunsets from the porch. The kids found the closet full of games and there was even an old bingo set with the wire cage for the balls. We played lots of games, read, hung out and just relaxed. The house was clean and well stocked. We really had a great time and were sad to leave. Would highly recommend this home to other families. Great vacation."

  • Picturesque, heavenly, very accommodating, cozy and relaxing!

"If you're looking to relax and forget the rest of the world, this cottage is perfect! The cottage has been updated, but still maintains the original look and feel of the knotty-pine Winnipesaukee cottages of the past. The path to the dock is very natural, and the sandy area is a great place to have your morning coffee. We did a lot of kayaking around the area coves, swam everyday, fished and in the late afternoon just hung out on tubes while floating around the cove. In the evening the deck was the perfect place for grilling and eating outside at the picnic table, with a fabulous view of the mountains. The porch was great for breakfast, or later evening board games. We saw lots of loons, (two right near the dock), an eagle, hummingbirds and caught fish as well! The dock is my favorite spot for reading, or diving off for a good swim! We'll be back and are so happy to have found a little piece of paradise!"

  • Celebrations

"My family wanted to find a place to celebrate several occasions for a week! The pictures we saw of this house didn't really do it justice! It was more beautiful and spacious than the photos! From the moment we entered it felt like home! Breathtaking views of the lake! Being able to walk to the gorgeous beach was incredible! We actually ate more at the house than in restaurants!! Both patios were spacious and the views amazing! Our family has bonded in a different way and we have memories that will last forever! We will be back!!"
