  • Relaxing Getaway

"No complaints on this long weekend. Deb was great with the information we needed. Location is top notch with a half dozen cottages tucked away across the street from the Lyon's Den (good food). Neighbors were all friendly and respectful. Close by the local beaches and outstanding early morning walks. Saw a concert at Meadowbrook where we usually stay at Misty Harbor. This however was much cheaper and allowed us to get outdoors more than usual. Meadowbrook was only a two minute drive and closer than anticipated."

  • Great location / quiet but still close to Wiers

"Very nice villa, secluded but still close to Weirs Beach. There is a shared access to the Lake a couple mins walk away. Could sleep 8 Adults and 6 or more kids easy. Loft BR area has full bath. One thing to note is the loft is accessed by spiral staircase that takes a little getting used to (no issue put the younger part of your crew up there 😀). Three BR's on main floor share full bath. Very large deck / great for sittin' and talkin' while you Griil some steaks in the evening. Large open living / dining and kitchen area. Great L shaped couch in the TV area. Wifi & TV worked great (good cable selection). Neighbors are very nice, felt like we were part of neighborhood 😀😀. We were there for Laconia Bike Week / close to Wiers but just far enough away to not get caught up in the traffic snarl the cintinues to build as the week wears on. We enjoyed slipping to Wiers at our leasure then ride too. We could also ride a couple routes that avoid the hustle and bustle of Wiers if we wanted. The riding near Laconia is outstanding - great twisties, small villages along the way - leisurely roll through very scenic vistas, pretty much any style riding you could wish for, including a challenging ride up Mt Washington if the winds and weather allows. Also close enough to the Maine coast for a Lobster or two. We highly recommend this "jewel" of a rental to anyone, in any season (I am sure that the Fall Colors would be just WOW)..."

  • Amazing!

"This cabin was beautiful. Inside it is clean and pleasantly decorated, the wood work is incredible! The property is private and very peaceful. Lots of outdoor spots to sit and enjoy the incredible view. The water was crystal clear, we had so much fun every day jumping off the dock into the lake. The fire pit in the photos has actually been upgraded to a wood burning fire pit, we had a fire every night overlooking the lake. There were 4 kayaks on the property and our whole family was able to go out on the lake in the kayaks all week, it was amazing. Directly across the lake is an island you can kayak to with public hiking paths over it, was so much fun to paddle over and take a beautiful hike not to mention it was a great workout. The cabin in located on a dead end road which is actually a big circle which is perfect for walks. If you chose to venture out there are tons of activities to do in the area and lots of restaurants to choose from. The grocery store is less than 10 minutes away, very convenient. The cabin has a fully functioning kitchen with we enjoyed making almost all of our meals in. Lots of storage space for grocery purchases and all the pots and pans you need for your cooking needs. We loved visiting the shopping areas in Meredith like beautiful Mills Falls. We have kids so we enjoyed some outings to The Fun Spot which is a huge arcade that also has a ropes course for the older kids. Across the street was a go cart track, lots of fun. We also ventured to weirs beach in Laconia, a short drive away from the cabin where you can book a boat cruise on the Mount Washington or take a train ride. Lots of shopping and fun places on the pier to enjoy, not to mention the incredible views there. We actually stopped at Harley Davidson which was lots of fun for everyone. We stopped and at at the famous Harts Turkey Farm for lunch it was delicious. The owner, Rick was helpful and knowledgable about the area. Very nice man, was so impressed with the customer service. We will be coming back next year and years to come!"
