  • Great for families!

"We had a WONDERFUL experience at "The Sandbar" in June of 2016. With three children under the age of 4, safety and cleanliness is key for us, and this house hit the mark. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean with comfortable furniture, nice bedding, and huge windows with a view of the lake from nearly every room. The kitchen is amazing, beautiful countertops, high end appliances and fully equipped with quality cookware and tons of dishes, utensils, cups, mugs, etc. The beach is fantastic and the water was so clear and clean, and shallow enough for little ones to play in without needing a life preserver on the entire time. Lots of toys and rafts available for our use, the whole family enjoyed outings in the paddle boat and even the little ones caught fish. We look forward to returning next year!"

  • A peaceful, delightful setting with a gorgeous view and caring accommodations.

"My party of 5 adults and 4 children was comfortably accommodated. We were greeted warmly by the host when we arrived. We had plenty of space to grill out for a small family reunion of 19, as they have two barbecue grills. The only challenge was that it took a very long time to wash a and dry all the linens."

  • Our 3rd stay and it was fantastic as usual...

"This is one of the most perfect spots on the lake with over 200 feet of frontage and it's own private beach. We have stayed 3 times and enjoyed the beach, dock, perch and fires by the chiminea at night. There is a store near by if you need anything (extra ice) and also some nice spots in town to go to. We had the opportunity to meet and chat with Bryan on this trip and he filled us in on some of the history of the cabin that we hadn't heard before. Wendy and Bryan are both fantastic to deal with. I'm afraid to tell too many people about this place because I want to make sure that there is always availability for our family. : ) P.S. Don't forget to sign the guest book!"

  • Great Holiday on Lake Winnipesaukee New Hampshire

"The property was exactly as described by the owners and Josie was quick to answer all queries to our satisfaction. It was clean and well-appointed. We had a comfortable bed, and plenty of space in the living areas and bedroom. All the appliances worked well and we cooked in the condo for most of our meals. As a dog owner, I appreciated the many grassy areas on the grounds of the condo complex and the fact that everyone kept their dog messes cleaned up. We met many of the condo residents while walking our dog and everyone was friendly. The view from the master bedroom of the bay is great, and we saw some pretty sunsets almost every night from the deck. We liked being in Laconia as it was centrally located with close-by restaurants and stores, plus there's less traffic than either Wolfeboro or Meredith. For dog owners, there's a doggie day care called Four Paws Inn that's convenient for those days when your activities can't include your dog. Our activities included boating on wonderful Lake Winnipesaukee, hiking, visiting tourist sites and looking at covered bridges. We ate at T-Bone Tom (good prime rib), Patrick's (music and light meals), and Lyons Den. All were good experiences and reasonably priced. We would recommend this property."
