  • Wonderful!!

"So glad we were able to stay in your beautiful home in the woods on Loon Lake last week. Everything was perfect, loved the peace and quiet on the lake and being close enough to other sites. In our 4 short days we visited Lake George, Lake Placid, the Wild Center at Tupper Lake, hiked Kipp Mt., Prospect Mt. and Mt. J o and rented a boat and SUP on Loon Lake. Needed a few more days to fit in more activities, more hikes and boat rides. Thank you for letting us stay at your home, it was equipped with everything we needed."

  • LOON LAKE TREASURE HAUS

"Haus Cronov is a treasure!!! My husband and I enjoyed our first summertime stay in the Adirondacks very much with our two adult children who also thoroughly enjoyed their stay on Loon Lake!! The chalet is spacious, well-equipped and maintained. All the windows and views are grand!!! Haus Cronov is located in a beautiful community with two private beaches on a very clean sandy-bottomed lake. We loved being surrounded by the aroma of pine wherever we went, especially in our very favorite spot, the PORCH!!! Loon Lake is very centrally located!! Chestertown is very nearby with a good supermarket, restaurants, and an excellent Farmers Market on Wednesdays. The quaint Main St. Ice Cream Parlor is absolutely top notch!!! We also recommend the Silver Star Restaurant and Fredricks Restaurant, both on Route 8 in Chestertown. Bolton"s Landing and the famous Sagamore Hotel is only 20 minutes away! History buffs may want to travel 45 minutes to Fort Ticonderoga for a very pleasant day! Lilt was very helpful and the rental process was very smooth from beginning to end. We definitely hope to return again soon."

  • Excellent stay

"We stayed here for two nights. The cabin was comfortable and well maintained. The place is very quite and peaceful at night. It's also a convenient driving distance to most of the regions attractions. We had lot of fun exploring the trails and playing frisbee golf"

  • Adirondack Bliss

"Garnet Lake is aptly named for the gemstones once mined in this region of the Adirondacks. This gem of a lake offers solitude, natural beauty, and all of the activities associated with lake living....kayaking, swimming, fishing, or just chillin' by the fire pit. Our family vacation at Garnet Lake combined the creature comforts of a well-appointed lake house with the natural beauty that greets you every morning as you look out onto the lake and the surrounding mountains. The house has a very remote feel, but it is conveniently located near Gore Mountain, Lake George, and the shops and restaurants in North Creek. We just loved the house and the owners are very friendly to deal with."
