  • Idyllic property for a family gathering!

"We rented Tim's house for a family get together with our kids. The cabinet and the grounds are utterly charming, green and kid friendly. The space was very comfortable for us to cook, grill outside and enjoy the outdoors, spread out in play indoors, and even play the piano. The home was well located near groceries, cute towns, nature walks and even close enough to visit Woodstock. We will most certainly keep this property in mind for future visits to the area. Thanks Tim for helping us have a wonderful weekend!"

  • Romantic getaway near Livingston Manor

"This lovely house is located in a quaint lake community. While there was no official guide on how to take care of the house, Leon was quick to answer many of our questions via e-mail (i.e. how the TV works, equipment for grilling etc.). My boyfriend and I enjoyed a pleasant Memorial Day weekend of BBQ-ing, hiking, stargazing and walking around the town of Livingston Manor. There's no AC in the main floors of the home, but we found that keeping the windows open was sufficient for keeping the temperature down. My only disclaimer is that the picture with the kayak/boats was slightly misleading, as those do not belong to this rental house. Otherwise, the pictures do justice! We'd recommend this house for couples, friends and families."

  • Cute cottage, private and serene

"Please Consider this a 4.5 star review, as our stay was nearly perfect. The property itself is great. It feels very private. There is a huge backyard, a great grill and fire pit as well as a beautiful deck. There is a house about 300 feet away that is visible when you pull up to the front of the house. Once inside and in the backyard, though, you wouldn't even know it's there because it's hidden by the surrounding trees and shrubbery. Inside the house, there's a medium size flat screen tv and a good DVD collection for when you want to relax. Paul was very friendly and considerate in our email conversations. His welcome guide was very thorough and proved to be very helpful during our stay. You definitely get the sense that he really cares about his guests. Overall the cottage has everything you need for a quiet weekend away from the city."

  • Relaxing week

"My husband and I and our 2 pups just had an amazing stay at this beautiful house. Everything has been taken care of and the house and property felt a world away (just what we needed). We loved swimming during the day and reading on the deck as well as exploring nearby trails and towns. At night, we relaxed by reading and playing pool. It's so nice to find a place that is dog friendly- our dogs probably had more fun than we did (if that's possible). Thanks again, Mike! We'll be back!"
