  • Just right

"My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a relaxing weekend alone on the North Fork. None of the B&Bs or few hotel choices appealed to us, so I decided to look for a cozy cottage. I lucked out when I found this perfect cottage. It is very clean and comfortable with a beautiful kitchen and view. It had everything you'd need for a weekend or longer. We had Vintage wine tours (Joanne is the best!) pick us up right at the house for a four winery tour. We dined in Soutthold at Caci and spent a day on Sag Harbor and another in Greenport. The location is very central to the whole North Fork. The owner was very accommodating by rescheduling us when the weather washed out our plans. We hope to return !"

  • Bliss

"This cottage exceeds its description! It is easily the most artistic, charming vacation cottage I have ever rented. I never went to the nearby "public" beach, just donned my water shoes, climbed down the swim ladder, and was in heavenly salt water multiple times per day. New Suffolk is the chillest town, and the area is bursting with farm fresh produce and beautiful wine, fresh seafood, and glorious sights. The large deck hangs over the water, and immediately puts one at ease. Gathering here with friends, around the big outdoor table, watching the Wednesday boat race, has built unforgettable memories. The owner is very very responsive, and just wants us to all enjoy this work of art that she has created. There is one neighbor, but the rest of the view is open sky and salt water. I envy you if you rent this place, it is quirky, but in the most wonderful way. I will say, that it felt very spacious because of the large outdoor space. Books abound, and wild bunnies, Osprey, and all kinds of water birds can be spotted in this unspoiled location. The local restaurant, (one block away!) is wonderful for vegetarians and omnivores alike. For a special evening, do not miss North Fork Table and Inn."

  • Beautiful and unique home

"This cottage was a wonderful place to stay. From the crashing of the waves that you can hear overnight while sleeping to the most glorious sunsets that you can imagine over the sound looking out towards the Conneticut you really couldn't ask for more. Highlights also included the private ocean beach and the incredible bath tub with a view out over the water and of course the abundance of natural wildlife including the family of bunnies and the fishing osprey Good place to switch off and forget about your real life . Stephen and Donna are very friendly and great to talk too. Easy going and made everything very straightforward ! This is a unique spot !"
