  • 20th Anniversay Getaway!

"I would not hesitate to rent this property again. My husband & I stayed here for 4 days to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The apt and building were clean & well decorated, with nice door staff. Friendly tenants. Warren was an awesome host - very friendly, accommodating & quick to respond. Everything you need is here - with the exception of a coffee pot, but don't worry, they make great coffee downstairs at the 24/7 store! If you like your coffee black, tell them, because they automatically put in cream & sugar (just the way I like it)! There's also a little wine shop downstairs! Have Warren walk you through actually turning on the LR TV - we never did figure it out, but the bedroom tv is a great size/picture. We were delighted to find that he had HBO, so we could watch the season opener of our favorite show Game of Thrones! The bed was super comfy & we slept great. We were surprised because our bed is a king, and this bed is a full. Nice sheets and pillows. The adjustable rainfall showerhead in the shower was wonderful, and we always had plenty of hot water. The noise level (for us) was fine - but we love the city sounds, and we slept with the window open. There is some construction going on & the crew seems to work later on the week nights. My husband enjoyed watching them... it's actually quite fascinating, if not a little scary. They don't seem to work on the weekend evenings, Friday included (at least that was our experience). You'll have to maneuver around some of the construction, but it's easy, in my opinion. The apt is just a couple blocks from a beautiful, newer subway station. Just buy a metro card from one of the machines there and refill/check your balance at any station... we just got one card and shared it by passing it back and forth. We got around on foot very easily. We visited Times Sq, Tribeca, Ground Zero, Brooklyn, Staton Island, Upper West Side. The entrance to the High Line is just across the street and is a must-see! Also, don't miss the spectacular views from the rooftop of the apartment building! Thank you Warren for providing us with the perfect home-away-from-home in NYC!"

  • Clean, lots of light and great location.

"We really enjoyed the apartment. It had everything we needed for a week in the city. We loved the location. Away from super touristy areas. Would recommend it to others."

  • Relaxing Chelsea experience!

"The apartment was wonderful! Michael was a very gracious host. He met us upon our arrival with the keys and showed us around. The apartment was cozy, clean and had a well equipped kitchen (there were even home made Christmas cookies in the fridge)! It faced the street but was quiet. Michael provided a list of restaurants in the area. We tried Trestle around the corner on 10th for breakfast. We liked it so much we returned our last day there! Would also recommend Chop Shop for dining in or take out. Great neighborhood, lots to do within walking distance. We've been to NYC many times and have always stayed in hotels. Staying in the apartment was a much more relaxing experience! We will definitely rent this apartment again!"

  • Perfect for 4 women

"This 4-bedroom Chelsea apartment was ideal for four of us in town for theater, food and the occasional (!) museum. The common areas could use some sprucing up but the apartment itself was clean and bright and each of the bedrooms, though not spacious, had plenty of closet space and hanging "shelves" to store everything away. Two full bathrooms made life particularly easy. We loved the location and the ease of access to subways with a direct line to theater."
