  • Beautiful cabin with outstanding view!

"We had eight adults and four children when we stayed for a week recently. The accommodations were very comfortable, well maintained, and very nicely equipped. The view from the wrap-around deck is outstanding! The fog was spread throughout the mountains on our first day-it beat anything we have seen in the Smoky Mountains! The sunsets were beautiful each night! Yes, the drive up and down Young's Mountain was a challenge the first day, but we got used to it quickly and met only two cars going the other way during the week. I tapped lightly on my horn as I went around some of the hairpin turns. We drove a small SUV-new tires and enough power for the trip up. Asheville, The Biltmore House, Chimney Rock State Park, and Lake Lure were close enough and very enjoyable."

  • Fantastic

"Very early spring weekend with the beginning of green! Wonderful house with openness inside and out. Very well decorated with a well equipped and large kitchen. Wrap around deck with beautiful views. Mirror lake is a full of surprises. A very quiet setting conducive to relaxation of all sorts. A weekend to remember. We will be back."

  • Evacu-cation

"With Hurricane Matthew predicted to hit Charleston my family and friends, 9 total plus a pup, decided we should pack up and leave. We are so glad that we did! Lured Inn was a wonderful escape! The home is so cozy but spacious enough for a large group to relax and unwind. We all loved the man cave, kayaking and the beautiful outdoor fireplace. We also loved zip lining and climbing Chimney Rock. The owners were so accommodating to us on extending our stay until we could return home. We will be back this summer! Thank you for sharing your awesome home with us!"

  • Family of 4

"Our family of 4 (with 15 & 13 yr old boys) were very pleased with our stay. Linens, soaps, paper products, and coffee & tea all provided. Kitchen had pots, pans, utensils, etc to cook meals. Even if we were "down the road" a little, we were still only minutes from Chimney Rock, Canopy Ridge zip-lines and Lake Lure. Winding roads in the area were great! We even made an excursion to Grandfather Mountain and Linville Caverns from the cabin."
