  • Cozy cottage with everything you need!

"We had the best stay at Fool's Bet in Ocracoke. It's exactly what our family needed for an affordable beach week. We have two boys 15 and 11, so we each had a bed, to collapse into every night, after a full day of fun outside. We walked to Ocracoke Coffee in the morning, the boys loved playing checkers there (even though they have wifi) that never happens! We loved the beach. The weather for the week didn't sound great, but it ended up being beautiful most of the time. The cottage has everything you need for a simple relaxing vacation. We will be back and bringing our bikes, next time! Thank you Lopresti Family for use of your cottage!"

  • Relax and Enjoy the Island Life

"The Studio is in a great location - close to the Ocracoke Coffe House and Zillies and within easy walking distance of the shops and places to eat. It is great for two people. We enjoyed sleeping in the loft, and having a private patio and outdoor shower was convenient. We spent Thanksgiving week here, and that turned out to be great. The weather was mild and there was no rain, except for the very first day we were there. The Studio is well equipped with wifi, TV, Netflix, etc. Debbie, the owner, is very personable and a good artist. We will definitely be back."

  • What a great place and a nice surprise!

"The pictures on the internet do not do this house justice. The downstairs living/dining room area is much larger than it appears in the pictures. The house is amazingly clean; very private and outstanding views. The kitchen has everything needed and the Weber charcoal grill cooks fabulously. We enjoyed he screened porch and the large unscreened porch (during daytime - mosquitos at night were killers). We kept our Jon boat and kayaks nearby and enjoyed riding our bikes to nearby downtown etc. Only issue we had was third bedroom has 4 adults and they were a little crowded; a little noisy with the snorers. Having two separate air conditioning units helped a lot along with all of the ceiling fans."

  • Great house on Ocracoke

"Pat's Place worked perfectly for our family of five. There was plenty of space and it had everything we needed. The location is lovely, and we especially enjoyed spending time on the two porches. It was so quiet at night that all we could hear were the frogs, but very convenient to the village stores/restaurants and to the beach. The one down side is the low water pressure, even by beach standards. Otherwise it's a really wonderful place to spend a vacation."
