  • Girlfriends Getaway

"The Justice House is a wonderful place to stay for a girlfriends getaway and a great way to refresh and rejuvenate. All five of us were very pleased with the accommodations. Ms. Laura got back to me quickly on any question that we had. Her home is very comfortable. It is fully stocked with everything that you can think of from beach chairs, DVD's to fully equipped kitchen. The location within Snead's Ferry is excellent. We were close to wonderful restaurants from NY Bagels for breakfast, seafood restaurants, bakery to HWY 55 Burgers, Shakes and Fries ‘50s-style restaurant. North Topsail beach was not crowed and is a wonderful family oriented and dog friendly, We would definitely stay there again if given the chance."

  • Very nice decor and clean. Quick walk to a beach access which was fantastic.

"This was a perfect spot for my family including 3 small children. The beach was quiet and no overcrowded at all. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience."

  • LOVED IT!!!!!!! GREAT OWNER COMMUNICATION

"GREAT PLACE, HAD A GROUP OF 10. THE FOUR KIDS HAD THE UPSTAIRS TO THEMSELVES AND PLACE IS RIGHT ON THE BEACH. NO ONE CLOSE TO YOU ON EITHER SIDE. GREAT COMMUNICATION WITH THE OWNER WHO ALSO HAS A DIAMOND IN THE RUFF RESTUARANT ON THE ISLAND, THE SHRIMP HOUSE. THAT WAS THE BEST SEAFOOD WE HAD DOWN THERE AND VERY GOOD PRICES. WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE. I WOULD RECOMMEND."

  • Family relaxation at the beach

"My husband and I wanted a quiet month at the beach. We chose this property to have plenty of space and private bathrooms for family members we wanted to join us. That worked out really well. The open-concept living area and the decks provided all the space we needed to be together. Four bedrooms with ensuite baths gave folks a place to retreat. We were a group of age 55+ adults. We also needed pet-friendly to accommodate my sister's Yorkie. This house met all our needs. The house and furnishings are a bit worn around the edges, but the necessary stuff was in working order and water pressure in the showers was awesome. Full size washer and dryer are convenient on the bedroom level. We were told that the kitchen is scheduled for refurbishment after our stay. Location is key on a less crowdEd part of the island, about equal distance between grocery shopping in either Surf City or Snead's Ferry. It was a long haul (20 mi round-trip) to a couple of our favorite restaurants on the south end of the island, but we considered it worth the drive. We had good communication with the owner, but it became a bit frustrating after he connected us with the management company he uses. Fortunately we had time to work out the communication issues and all came together well in advance of our arrival. As with most beach houses, there are a lot of stairs. Having a bedroom and bath on the main living area makes it easier for someone who can't do stairs multiple times daily. The exterior stairs and deck are rough with splinters and popped nails. Be careful and wear shoes. This is a wonderful retreat for the family who needs public and private space within the house, expansive beach and views, and doesn't mind getting in the car for anything other than beach time."
