  • WONDERFUL HOME!!!

"This home is much nicer than it looks in the photos! Beautiful, expansive views from the triangular shaped windows. Large covered decks with elevated chairs. Tons of dog gates inside and out to keep dogs safely contained on certain floors or decks, etc. totally dog friendly. This home is on the very north end of the island and about a 25 minute drive to nearest grocery. A quiet area. Very well stocked kitchen. Could use a second refrigerator..."

  • Lovely unit in charming area

"My family was fortunate to stay in 1204 St. Regis this summer. The unit was perfect for a relaxing week on charming Topsail Island. The unit had a completely stocked kitchen which was very helpful as we ate in half the week. The unit was spotless when we arrived and very comfortable. We loved the beach which was just busy enough and the pool area. It is a quiet island but has family friendly restaurants nearby. The unit had everything we needed for a relaxing beach getaway- the kind I fondly remember when my children were young."

  • Family relaxation at the beach

"My husband and I wanted a quiet month at the beach. We chose this property to have plenty of space and private bathrooms for family members we wanted to join us. That worked out really well. The open-concept living area and the decks provided all the space we needed to be together. Four bedrooms with ensuite baths gave folks a place to retreat. We were a group of age 55+ adults. We also needed pet-friendly to accommodate my sister's Yorkie. This house met all our needs. The house and furnishings are a bit worn around the edges, but the necessary stuff was in working order and water pressure in the showers was awesome. Full size washer and dryer are convenient on the bedroom level. We were told that the kitchen is scheduled for refurbishment after our stay. Location is key on a less crowdEd part of the island, about equal distance between grocery shopping in either Surf City or Snead's Ferry. It was a long haul (20 mi round-trip) to a couple of our favorite restaurants on the south end of the island, but we considered it worth the drive. We had good communication with the owner, but it became a bit frustrating after he connected us with the management company he uses. Fortunately we had time to work out the communication issues and all came together well in advance of our arrival. As with most beach houses, there are a lot of stairs. Having a bedroom and bath on the main living area makes it easier for someone who can't do stairs multiple times daily. The exterior stairs and deck are rough with splinters and popped nails. Be careful and wear shoes. This is a wonderful retreat for the family who needs public and private space within the house, expansive beach and views, and doesn't mind getting in the car for anything other than beach time."
