Perfect little getaway

We loved our stay in the house. Everything was very cozy. The view was beautiful and peaceful. The take traffic was pretty low so my son and I kayaked to the Hwy 8 bridge and back. The living room is set up perfectly for a game night (which we did while watching the Canes give up on life during the Eastern Conference Final). We would definitely come back!

Cleanest VRBO with gorgeous views

We had the opportunity to stay at Kevin and Nicole's lake house over spring break and it was excellent! From the moment you walk in it is clear they take pride in sharing their home with renters. It was truly the cleanest VRBO we have ever been in AND they let your pet join you! All the extras were truly appreciated - s'mores makings, coffee pods, snacks, games, books, dog crate, leashes, treats, kayaks, the list goes on and on. The weather didn't allow us to really take advantage of all the outside space had to offer but it was a playground for water fun! Pool, dock with multiple seating areas and places to fish, fully stocked boat house and kayak launch. Makes us want to come back and visit again during the summer months. I still enjoyed morning coffee and reading in the enclosed sun porch with a gorgeous view of the lake! Communication was great, access to the house was easy, neighborhood was super nice and walkable and BEST OF ALL, check out steps were simple. Thank you Nicole and Kevin for sharing such a gem of a lake home!

Wonderful lake getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed the property. We picked this property because it was on a lake and it had a fenced yard for our dogs. We found when we arrived that the front and back of the property were both fenced with the option of blocking access between the front and back. Our dogs had a blast being able to run the full length of the property. The dock on the lake had a great seating area with chairs that we did some quality sunset watching as well as stargazing. There's also a boat ramp that made it super easy to launch our kayaks. The house is a perfect size for a family of 4. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of tools in the kitchen to cook for the family. We would definitely visit again.

Excellent Property!

Really enjoyed relaxing at this property. The house is very comfortable and well appointed......you feel right at home. The kitchen is very well equipped and nicely updated. There is a large dining table in front of the bay window, as well as a smaller 4 top in a smaller sun room off the main dining area that also contains two very comfortable chairs and ottoman. You can really spread out in this home! Two bedrooms with one of the bathrooms downstairs, and a large master suite with bathroom upstairs, that also has its own sitting room. All the bedrooms have mounted flat screen T.V.'s and the beds and bedding are very comfortable.The grounds are very well maintained and with the property jutting out on a peninsula, it is like you are on your own small island. Walking around the outside you have the expansive green lawn and trees, the dock, the fire pit area, the large back deck area.....many choices where you can just sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake surrounded by water on three sides. Large paved driveway to park on with a wide sidewalk leading up to the front door. The driveway area is well lit at night, and you enter the property through an opening of the privacy fencing that extends across the entire front yard. Chris-the property manager was wonderful to work with, very accommodating and quickly responds to any questions or correspondence. A wonderful property, did not want to "check out" and return to reality! Will definitely book again in the future.
