  • Everything wonderful

"My husband, two dogs and I enjoyed a long weekend here and loved every minute of it. Tsali Recreational area, a great place to go mountain biking, hiking, etc., was only about a 20 minute drive from the cabin. We also recommend bringing along some bird seed if you are interested in some feathered friends while you are there. We did not want to leave the peaceful neighborhood, and neither did our dogs when our visit came to an end. Thank you for such a pleasant stay and having all of the comforts of home away from home. We cannot wait to visit again soon."

  • Great home, amazing location, beautiful lake and memories of a lifetime.

"At the culmination of a lot of winding roads along the mountain side, rests a beautiful lake oasis. Our group of twelve found plenty of space to sleep and always had something fun to do. We tubed and hiked Deep Creek, rafted the Nantahala, went horseback riding, and spent a ton of time in the lake in a great pontoon boat. This home, with its great dock, hot tub, and fire pit was all that we could have wanted. Thanks for the wonderful memories. Special props to Tony at Alarka Marina who allowed us to rent a pontoon boat for 4 days and keep it over night in the boat slip. Apparently it is not the norm to be able to keep boats overnight but if you are interested, look him up. Really great time all around."

  • Quiet, secluded, lovely place

"The Eco cabin & lower floor of house were very spacious & the owner gave us free rein of the place. The main road in & out is a motorcyclists' dream with 101 turns in about 4 miles. We had a great stay in the Smokies!"

  • Great for our Ladies' Retreat

"We had a group of (22) women who came for our annual fall ladies' retreat. We typically go to different locations each year. The road to get to the house was very scary to travel in a 15 passenger bus, but we made it up with lots of prayer. That's the price you pay for the most gorgeous view I have ever had from the house itself. It was magnificent! Set the stage beautifully to worship the God who created it! It was very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was great, stocked with a huge refrigerator, pots, pans, bowls, platters, paper towels, dish soap and much more. We cooked meals each day and it was set up perfectly to serve and eat with plenty of room. They even provided a small amount of wood to build a fire in the fire pit! Perfect. Rachel was quick to answer every question I had from making the reservation to arriving. Our ladies loved this place, and we may have to come back to this spot! Highly recommended by me! Thanks so much!"
