  • Amazing Cabin & view!!

"My wife & I just returned home from 9 incredible days at Eagle's Nest Hideaway. Hideaway is a fitting description & perfectly describes what we did. This cabin & the spectacular view were just too beautiful to leave. The cabin is so comfortable & wonderfully appointed. The King bed in the Master bedroom is the most comfortable bed we've ever experienced. The hot tub & fire pit were in perfect locations, & we spent a great deal of time in both. But the star of the show.... THE VIEW, was captivating! We were also struck by the quiet.... nothing but the sounds of nature. We did occasionally drive the 4 miles to the bottom of the mountain to have lunch, dinner, & short walks at the NOC which was very handy. As I write this, the words seem lacking. You MUST experience this cabin. We are already preparing to book next years trip. Thank you to the Watershed Cabins staff. & thank you to Stuart & Melody for sharing this home with us."

  • Fontana Fish Trip

"Very nice and well equipped home with beautiful view of the lake. The home is on a very quiet, tortuous road that can be tricky to find. There is a steep climb down to a nice covered dock that has an upstairs deck for sun and PM drinks! The beds are extremely comfortable and our party of six enjoyed our stay. Gas grill is available, but needs a little work. Only negative was the debris on the lake this time of year. We rented a nice pontoon boat from Alarka dock and enjoyed a couples trip on the lake. We also brought our bass boat for fishing and the dock at the home was easy to moor. Nice house!"

  • Peaceful Setting

"Amazing Cabin! My parents arrived before I, shortly after their arrival they received a welcoming phone call from the owner. My parents had nothing but good things to say about him. I personally dealt with him to book this cabin and he was an absolute delight, answered every question I had. The cabin itself is gorgeous. A massive fireplace that definitely kept us warm, plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 young boys. The boys enjoyed the front yard while playing football and exploring and the adults enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch. They had a gas and charcoal grill for our use and we did. It was easy to find with the directions provided from the owner. Close to town, yet secluded enough for peace and quiet. We visit this area at least twice a year and we definitely will return to this cabin. Our family had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving in this cabin. The leaves had just started to fall which opened up an awesome view. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our family holiday here. P.S. We loved the Christmas tree"

  • Peaceful retreat

"I recommend this cabin for a peaceful getaway. Cabin is clean with a nice size TV to watch movies, hot tub and pool table. Mountain biked daily at Tsali which was only a 15 minute drive. The NOC was only 10 minutes or less from the cabin were we ate breakfast daily. Bryson city is only a 15 minute drive from the NOC where you can stop at the brewery, dine at a few restaurants, or take a train ride through the mountains. You can also pick up the Appalachian trail on either side of the river at the NOC. The owner; Linda was kind and available for questions. You won't be disappointed."
