  • Peaceful Cabin

"My husband and I recently spent five nights in Longview Cabin. We found the cabin to be as depicted in the pictures and description. It had a fairly easy access but still high enough in the mountains to have a great view which were the deciding factors for me in selecting Longview. The outdoor spaces were all attractive with good views but our favorite was the uncovered deck facing the mountains. This spectacular sight can also be seen from the living and dining areas inside the cabin due to the two large windows. We enjoyed having breakfast by the dining area window. One morning the clouds were so low all you could see was white. The kitchen was well equipped and met all our needs. I loved the red dishes. Mr. Denny was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He has lots of little notes explaining how things work. I especially appreciated knowing the correct light switch to turn on or off. We enjoyed several shops and restaurants in Bryson City but you need to check their hours. We rode the train one afternoon and drove over to Gatlinburg and ate at The Peddler another afternoon. But, just relaxing at the cabin was quite pleasant. If you are seeking a private, quiet, and peaceful log cabin, Longview is a good choice."

  • Missing the "fairy tale" cabin already!

"It’s only been three days since we left and we are already missing the “fairy tale” cabin. Our family spent a week at your lovely cabin and we can’t wait to return. We saw wildlife, enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, the fire pit and really enjoyed the peacefulness and artistic touches around the cabin. Thanks for all the goodies you left for us. Robbie and Dale, you have thought of every detail for your guests and we really appreciated it."

  • Great peaceful location!

"Our 3 families really enjoyed our stay at Alarka cabin . Very peaceful location, you could hear the stream while sitting out by the campfire. Whitewater rafting , deep creek tubing and picnicking were all within 30 min. Cherokee about 45 min away . A lot to do and beautiful place!"

  • Absolutely Perfect!

"Everything was better than we could have hoped for. The cabin was modern with a cozy feel, it was extremely clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The VIEWS were amazing. The cabin is pretty high up on the mountain which makes the views so ptretty and also gave us the privacy and peace we were looking for. Additionally, the cabin comes complete with any extras you may want, ex. chemicals for the pool, towels, extra blankets, bath salts, firewood, propane, board games, movies, pots/pans, plates, silverware, cups, mugs, glasses, etc. We traveled with our two kids, aged 14, and 10. There are things to do locally for example, we went white water rafting and hiking in the Smokey Mountains...all within a 10-15 minute drive from the cabin. We had such a nice time that we extended our stay for an extra night. I highly recommend."
