  • Wonderful Home and easy to find location

"We loved Comfort Mountain! The home was very clean and equipped with everything needed! The front porch and back deck were great and with a baby gate placed on the back deck our fur babies could be out there off leash! We loved the gas grill too! Although up on top of the mountain, there was lots of flat land to walk the pups. Roger and Barb are great hosts!"

  • Perfect weekend getaway!

"My friends and I stayed here for two nights in July and couldn't have been happier! The location to Nantahala and Lake Fontana couldn't be more perfect. Bryson City isn't far of a drive either for a night out. The cabin is adorable. AC units in the bedrooms, comfy back porch, and the cabin was stocked with all the basic necessities. Thank you again Adrienne and Joel!"

  • "Off the Grid" Paradise

"One of the best vacations we've ever had! The house is wonderful - plenty of room, picture-perfect setting, and well-maintained. We had 10 people ranging in age from 9 - 79, and had plenty of space. The owner is very responsive to any questions we had and gave us suggestions for activities. There are no neighbors crowding your view and the lake is not busy at all. Sometimes it felt like we were the only ones on it. If you're looking to be in the heart of the hustle and bustle, this house isn't for you. It's a long drive up the mountain within the gated community to get to the house - 15 minutes at minimum. But that also ensures the feeling of "going off the grid". Which also brings up another point - there is no internet access which took a few family members awhile to get used to. Despite being secluded, we still had easy access to NOC for activities, Asheville for the Biltmore, and Bryson City for grocery stops. And while in Bryson City, you MUST eat at the Filling Station and get the Cuban sandwich and at Jimmy Mac's for just about anything! Delicious! I highly recommend this house. You won't be disappointed!"
