  • Ideal in every way

"Super close to lakes, rivers, kayaking, biking, hiking, Bryson City, swimming, canoeing...you name it! Homey, beautiful, and gentle house with great perks like the hot tub and whirlpool bath. I can't say enough good things. So happy to have spent the last two summers here. Look forward to more. Thanks Kent and family!!!!!"

  • "Off the Grid" Paradise

"One of the best vacations we've ever had! The house is wonderful - plenty of room, picture-perfect setting, and well-maintained. We had 10 people ranging in age from 9 - 79, and had plenty of space. The owner is very responsive to any questions we had and gave us suggestions for activities. There are no neighbors crowding your view and the lake is not busy at all. Sometimes it felt like we were the only ones on it. If you're looking to be in the heart of the hustle and bustle, this house isn't for you. It's a long drive up the mountain within the gated community to get to the house - 15 minutes at minimum. But that also ensures the feeling of "going off the grid". Which also brings up another point - there is no internet access which took a few family members awhile to get used to. Despite being secluded, we still had easy access to NOC for activities, Asheville for the Biltmore, and Bryson City for grocery stops. And while in Bryson City, you MUST eat at the Filling Station and get the Cuban sandwich and at Jimmy Mac's for just about anything! Delicious! I highly recommend this house. You won't be disappointed!"

  • Great Weekend Getaway

"We went for a long weekend over new years and a group of 8 had a great time. Plenty of space for everybody to move in the kitchen and dine together at the 8 person table. We had every pot, pan, and utensil that would be needed to cook in the cabin. Hot tub, horse shoes, and fire pit provided entertainment outdoors. Cabin was very clean and easy find with the directions provided. We would definitely stay at this cabin again. Very close to Bryson City and the Polar Express and Nantahala Brewing Company. Recommend going to Deep Creek and checking out the waterfalls."

  • Absolutely Perfect!

"Everything was better than we could have hoped for. The cabin was modern with a cozy feel, it was extremely clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The VIEWS were amazing. The cabin is pretty high up on the mountain which makes the views so ptretty and also gave us the privacy and peace we were looking for. Additionally, the cabin comes complete with any extras you may want, ex. chemicals for the pool, towels, extra blankets, bath salts, firewood, propane, board games, movies, pots/pans, plates, silverware, cups, mugs, glasses, etc. We traveled with our two kids, aged 14, and 10. There are things to do locally for example, we went white water rafting and hiking in the Smokey Mountains...all within a 10-15 minute drive from the cabin. We had such a nice time that we extended our stay for an extra night. I highly recommend."
