  • A hidden gem!!!

"The pictures does not do this place justice! We just spent 3 nights here for a girls weekend! Everything in this home is beautiful and has a huge area to be with friends and family. We loved our little hike, the jacuzzi, and he outside area. We loved petting the horses and our the 2 dogs hat visited us daily. Propane tank was empty and melody brought us a new one right away. This cabin is truly beautiful!!!! It was a 20-30 min drive to Asheville but it was worth it. This house truly has everything you need. We can't wait to go back and are planning our next stay here!!"

  • Did not want to leave!

"I, my husband, and two friends rented the Pine Ridge Chalet from April 1 to the 4th. We had an amazing stay. The cabin was clean and very cozy. Two of the rooms were huge and could possibly hold more people if needed. The upstairs had a loft area with a futon, a closed room with a king size bed and ample room, and a small bathroom with a toilet and tub and sink. One of the downstairs room had a door leading out to the porch where you can sit on a swing and listen to the creek. The kitchen was small but we only used it for breakfast and managed nicely. Most of our time was spent outside. We were able to build a nice fire and roast some hotdogs and marshmallows. You are able to see the Hilltop Cabin, but it didn't bother us at all. It was extremely quiet and felt like we were the only ones on the mountain. The area was extremely peaceful and none of us wanted to leave. We felt like three nights was just enough time to get into the groove of things and wished we stayed for a week. If you are looking for a getaway, this is definitely the place to be. A couple of things I do want to mention. When we were looking at the reviews, all we saw were people worried about driving over the creek. We brought up my small car to save on gas. It's a Sonic Turbo LTZ. The creek was not the problem at all. When you hit the fork between Pine Ridge and Hilltop, things get a little bumpy and steep. There's a sign that says to maintain 12mph till the top. If you maintain that, you shouldn't have a problem but I would definitely recommend taking a V6 or 4WD. We plan on bringing my husband's jeep or our friend's truck the next time we come. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin. It's in the perfect location as it's very close to different sights and the town. The feel of the cabin location is priceless. You instantly become peaceful and forget your busy life. We all want to come back and stay longer."

  • Cute cabin

"Wonderful, cute place! We loved waking up to the rosters in the morning. The place was very clean, the bed comfortable. We hope to stay again and have our grand daughter meet the roosters!"

  • We loved O'Kelley's Farmhouse!

"We decided to go to NC to get away from the heat and the beached in FL. After looking at several properties around the Asheville area we deiced to rent O'Kelley's Farmhouse. We liked to old look, the open green fields and over course the kids were excited about the goats. Upon arrival everything was as described and pictured. It felt like we stepped back in time and O'Kelley's Farmhouse is like a mini museum. You can spend quite some time just walking around the house and explore the interior. The house is just a couple of minutes form the Blue Ridge Parkway, with spectacular views of the mountains. The kids woke up every morning running outside to feed the goats and just explore the area. We had friends that stayed at a hotel downtown Asheville and they regretted not staying with us in the Farmhouse. O'Kelley's Farmhouse definitely made our vacation feel even more special. I would recommend this property to anyone that want to visit the Asheville area."
