"Enjoyed our stay at this cute little cabin. It is nice and clean and well appointed. The opportunity to fish right from the yard was fun, though we didn't catch anything worth eating. Also enjoyed the fire pit by the river (bring your own wood). The location does feel a bit different in reality than it appears in the photo. I'm just saying, because it appears to be secluded, but is not- a main road (not a busy highway, but there is traffic) runs right in front of it (which in the photo appears to be a hillside going up into woods, but there is a road right there), and there are neighbors on each side and beyond. Inside, the water had a very strong sulfur smell which was quite unpleasant. I saw in the guest info book to contact the office if this was the case, so I did by text. They were very quick to respond (as they were when I was making the reservation-great property manager), glad to come over and change the water filter, but unfortunately, it didn't do much for the sulfur smell. Also, the gas fireplace gave off a very strong gas smell (propane, or whatever gas it is) that made me feel sick one night, so after that we just used the space heater provided instead of the fireplace. My husband, however, wasn't bothered by the gas smell, and none of my 3 kids seemed bothered, either, so maybe I'm just sensitive. In spite of these things, though, we did have a very nice time there, and the rental rate (even on Christmas holiday) was very reasonable."

  • As Described!!

"The cabin was as described, private but close to everything. Everything was nice and clean, linens were included. Kitchen appliances were full sized. The bathroom was small but nicely furnished. No problems with DirecTV or the WiFi even though it got very windy. Heed all warnings about the driveway!!!! Very steep, a car will not make it. Perhaps add a pic of the Cherokee Bluff sign or the office so that it is easier to spot since GPS is not exact. Only caveat-the Queen bed was raised and I am very petite so I had to jump to get on it and it might be too high for others not as dexterous as I. We didn't explore the woods or use the fire ring because of the wildfires but we definitely will in the future. We will gladly book this property again, loved it❤️"

  • We will be back

"Spent a long weekend with my husband for my 50th birthday. Close to action yet tucked away from the crowd. The cabin was very clean and had every modern convenience and we were happy to spend the majority of our time outside on the porch. We have recommended to all of our friends and intend to come back again and again!"

  • Awesome cabin

"Very nice, super spacious. Going up the gravel was challenging, recommended turning off traction on car to go uphill. Stay was very accommodating, cabin supplied absolute everything, would definitely recommend!"
