  • Relaxing Labor Day

"We visited this property over Labor Day weekend and had a lovely time! The screened in porch was a perfect view - we enjoyed sitting here and putting together puzzles. The home has a beautiful master suite upstairs that kid of felt like a home of it's own. We would recommend this for other families! Thank you for this wonderful Labor day memory."

  • Perfect dog-friendly getaway

"We wanted to take a trip to the mountains of WNC for rafting, mountain biking, and hiking. We were thrilled to find such an idyllic place to stay. We both loved it, and so did our dogs. The furniture was very comfortable, and the cabin was thoughtfully furnished. It was so unbelievably quiet up there! We found everything exactly as we expected--the directions we were provided were thorough and everything about the cabin was in perfect order upon our arrival. We won't hesitate to stay there again."

  • Lovely, quiet cabin

"This cabin was perfect for a quiet getaway weekend. I was very impressed with how clean everything was - just like brand new! No mountain views but the cabin is surrounded by woods so if feels secluded even though neighbors are not far away. The cutest neighbors were the two goats who roam the property. :-) The only unexpected thing was that the fence for the goats goes right up to the back of the cabin so there is no "yard" to enjoy. However, the large covered porch makes up for that. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the porch each evening and watching the lightning bugs. There was a problem with the TV when we first arrived, but Dwight appeared promptly and it was soon fixed. No other issues at all! We would stay at this cabin again. Thank you Dwight and Helen for a lovely cabin."

  • Fantastic house in the mountains

"This is the perfect place to stay whether for a short weekend or an entire season. The location, nestled in a small valley, is incredibly quiet and peaceful with hiking right out the back door and a gorgeous slice of sky to see the stars from the deck. We stayed here for a three-day weekend and was sad when it was time to leave. The house is perfectly appointed with everything you could need or want, from great kitchen amenities to a fantastic grill on the deck, an outdoor fire ring and gas fireplace inside. Two of us came with our mountain bikes and used the house as base camp for a few days of hiking and riding. Some of the best trails in the area were all within a 45 minute drive, no matter which direction we turned after leaving the driveway and lane. For the evenings we enjoyed heading into town for microbrews on the porch of some fabulous local breweries and great restaurants. I'd recommend anyone to stay here but be warned, you may never want to leave!"
