  • A charming piece of heaven in Franklin.

"From the moment we pulled into the drive to the moment we pulled away from The Lil' Rustic Cabin, every detail was perfect. First of all, we were greeted by Gene and Diane, who make you feel at home instantly, Diane is a sweetheart. The cabin was spotless, maintained to perfection. The cabin is so cozy, I could literally live here forever and not change a thing. The porch and view are heaven on earth. I will definitely be back....hopefully very soon. Diane recommended some awesome places for us to try. First of all was Dry Falls. I cannot say enough about how breathtaking this fall was. Don't stop there though, keep on heading up the mountain to Highlands. It's the most adorable, artsy town. The prepared food at Mountain Fresh Market made a wonderful dinner. I was so surprised at how delicious it was. I recommend the pulled pork which is cooked on a wood fired something, and the wild-caught steamed, spiced shrimp, as good or better than most high end restaurants. Also, Caffé Rel in Franklin is another gem. Delicious Italian food for a very good price. Dillsboro and Sylva are 2 other near artistic towns. I almost forgot, a special touch in the cabin is the heated vent that you can turn on right at the shower. All in all, this was a heavenly retreat that couldn't be matched. The Lil Rustic Cabin and it's owners are second to none in my heart! 💗"

  • Great Place to Relax and Enjoy

"Wow!! My wife and I had a great weekend get away for our anniversary. The cabin was very comfortable and quietly hidden in the mountains with great view. The owner was very professional and kept us updated regularly. Everything was way above our expectations. If you are looking for a secluded, relaxing, and comfortable experience then book this cabin!!"

  • Excellent Getaway

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for just one night - a last minute getaway. The cabin was immaculate! Everything was there that we needed, even condiments in the fridge. Nice secluded cabin, so we spent a lot of time out on the porch. The hummingbirds put on a great show for us!! They buzzed by us on the porch and we had a great time watching them. We saw one deer as we were coming down the driveway. We went to the grocery store upon arrival, only about 10 minutes away. We cooked dinner, breakfast and lunch in the cabin. It was so cozy, once we got there, we didn't want to go back out. Grill was on the back porch, so we grilled steaks and ribs. We didn't even go upstairs, other than to look and see what was there. The cabin would sleep two upstairs in twin beds, and has a pull out couch in the living room. Master bedroom has a queen sized bed. Trinda is super easy to work with and very helpful. Communication was great! We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!!"

  • Wonderful Weekend Stay

"What a wonderful spot for our Anniversary Weekend Getaway! Cozy is a great word for this cabin. It was just the perfect size for the two of us. It was very clean and it had everything that we needed (except we forgot to bring bar soap so had to pick that up when we were in town). It was quite cool outside but the little heater that was provided worked great! It is in a very quiet, remote area but not too far to get back into Franklin! We would definitely stay here again!"
