  • The perfect getaway

"First off, the owners are wonderful; incredibly respectful, responsive and kind. The cabins (we had many) were clean and offered everything we needed. The area was perfect for hiking, birding, nature, relaxation and reflection. Hot Springs is about a 25 min drive away and has done cool restaurants/bars and a nice outfitter."

  • GORGEOUS MOUNTAIN VIEWS

"THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN IS A BEAUTIFUL AND VERY TASTEFUL CABIN. THE AREA IS VERY PRIVATE. THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO BRING IS FOOD AND DRINK; THE CLOSEST GROCERY STORE IS ABOUT A 45 MINUTE DRIVE ONE WAY..THE KITCHEN IS VERY WELL STOCKED! THE SUNSETS ARE SPECTACTUAL FROM THE ENCLOSED BACK PORCH(WE VISITED IN THE WINTER)! THERE ARE MANY PARKS AND TRAILS FOR HIKING IN THE AREA. WE HOPE TO RETURN SOMETIME."

  • Cozy, homey cottage in a great location.

"We chose Trailside for its location in Hot Springs and proximity to the Appalachian Trail. We had a restful vacation in comfy beds and a homey atmosphere. Smoky Mountain Diner is a 5 minute walk away and has great breakfast. We walked to Lovers Leap from the cottage and drove north and south to a couple of more hikes on the AT. The hot tub was a luxurious amenity. The board games and books came in handy after nightfall. The cottage has any tools, dishes, cookery that one needs. It was fun to shower in the old claw-foot tub. We would stay here again."
