  • Cozy Cabin

"This cabin was exactly what my husband and I needed for our private weekend getaway for just the two of us. It had a great view of the mountains and the French Broad River just sitting on the front porch. The cabin had a full kitchen, a big bathroom and roomy shower, a decent sized bedroom and a full living room with cable TV. The drive into town was short and beautiful. We would drive into town to eat and for daily activities and then come back to the cabin and soak in the hot tub for the rest of the night. Very relaxing and welcoming. The owners were amazing! We called them on our way down Friday morning and they got us booked right away. The normal check-in time is 3pm but when we arrived earlier than 3pm they had no problem letting us check-in early. Inside the cabin, the owners even had a little guide book to tell you about the companies, restaurants and activities that you could do nearby. Overall we loved it and we will be back."

  • Nice cabin in Hot Springs, NC

"The cabin was as described - clean, roomy, nice front porch and yard and everything we needed. . Melanie was available and made us feel very welcomed, even supplying fresh towels half way through the week. Easy 1/2 mile walk to Hot Springs, restaurants, the spa hot springs baths and drive to hiking trails. It is not on a wooded trail but a highway, which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, as we were looking for a more remote location."

  • Good Basic Cabin for a Weekend Getaway

"We went to the Asheville Area for a weekend get away, and enjoyed this cozy, out of the way cabin. It was close enough to the City to make it easy to get to, but far enough away that we felt secluded in the mountains. There are a few close houses around, but from the cabin you feel pretty private. Perfect for a couple, I wouldn't suggest it for more than that. The queen bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean. The kitchen had a good set of utensils, pots, and pans for doing some easy cooking. There is no real wifi in the cabin. The wireless router from the main house up the hill reaches the cabin just enough to show up on your phone, but is not strong enough to really use. The road to get to the cabin is a rough gravel road with many ditches and holes, so I'd suggest a truck or SUV or a car you don't mind scraping bottom with. Overall, I would stay here again."

  • Fantastic location

"You will be hard-pressed to find a cabin with a better location or host. Right on the Laurel River, secluded & private, close to Hot Springs. We return every year."
