  • Great location, clean historic building

"I loved staying in the historic Biltmore Village! There's great shopping and many restaurants all within walking distance. The apartment was the perfect size for my husband and me and our son and his fiancé. The outside porch was a dream, wished we could have spent more time out there! The owner was immediately responsive to a couple of inquiries and even allowed us to leave an extra car to be parked in the lot after we checked out on the final day. I hope it will be available for our next trip to Asheville!"

  • Family Vacation

"Our family of 8 stayed in BJ's above the river. Beautiful home, well maintained, great views from the decks. Close proximity to lots of outdoor activities for the whole family. We rented a pontoon at Shook's Marina, white water rafting at Paddle Inn, spent a day at a nearby lake in Georgia, The Fields of the Woods, putt putting at Wagon Wheel Adventure Park, and stopped at The Lost Sea Adventures on our way back home to Ohio. We had an amazing time and would say this is a 5 star vacation property. The only downfall was the steps down to the river. There are A LOT! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!"

  • Suzanne S. - Misty Laurel was wonderful!!!

"My family had a wonderful six days at this beautiful cabin 3600 feet up on the mountain overlooking Lake Nantahala!! The cabin is decorated in a warm and inviting fashion. Everything is perfectly clean and orderly. The kitchen had everything you need. Just a lovely place to stay. The views off the deck are amazing. We went white water rafting on the Nantahala River and gem mining and we visited the Smoky Mountains several times. We walked up Clingman's Dome and visited the Little Greenbrier School. On the way home we visited the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. We visited Cherokee, North Carolina and the Museum of the Cherokee Indians. There were many, many other things to do that we didn't get to. We had an absolutely wonderful time and the cabin and its owners, Pat and Jo, were tremendously helpful and kind! Highly recommend this cabin for anyone with a family or anyone wanting a peaceful, tranquil and cozy place to stay."

  • We all loved it!!

"We stayed a month is this cute cabin and it was a perfect fit for us and our dogs. It was clean and very well stocked. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room. North Asheville shopping, bakeries and restaurants are only a couple minutes away, but the cabin feels "away from it all". We enjoyed sitting on the porch, and saw wild turkeys, possums, rabbits and even a mama bear with her cub! Tom was very helpful and made us feel welcome. We have already made reservations for a return trip (or two)!!!"
