  • Great, Pet Friendly, Getaway!

"Great modern home whose amenities and convenience exceeded expectations and provided a quick reprieve from Asheville. Very appreciative of the owners for making it as pet-friendly as possible and providing a very clean, neatly organized home away from home."

  • Fall retreat

"Pleasant Grove cottage (blue) was perfect! 2 BR, 2.5 bath for 2 couples was just what we needed! Close to Asheville for our day trips, Weaverville had great restaurants and the scenery was breathtaking! Cottage was nicely decorated and extremely functional. Stocked kitchen was nice as we cooked dinner once and had breakfast there daily. Even used the gas fireplace!! Thanks for a relaxing place to rest after long days. I would highly recommend and would stay there again!"

  • Great house with fantastic views from every room!

"I spent my 40th birthday Thanksgiving week here with 13 adults and this house was perfect. This house is as advertised! The views from every room were amazing. I can't say it enough....VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS! The pictures were spot on and there are even a few positives not show (great view from hot tub, ping pong table on the deck, large family room downstairs, etc). The house was very clean and had everything you needed. The management team responded quickly to all of our questions and requests. Burnsville is about a 15 minute drive and has a nice grocery store and you can find about anything you need. There are a lot of really good hikes within a few hours. There are also hiking trails on the property. We parked 5 cars easily. The guards at the security shack are friendly and very helpful. The theatre is great, we watched some thanksgiving football in there. A couple of things to note, these are not negatives just some FYI's for renters. There is not a large oven in the house, there are two 18" x 18" (approx) opening ovens. We were trying to cook a large turkey and it didn't fit. WE made due though. The drive up from the gate is 3 miles of twisting/climbing roads so bring a vehicle that can handle it. With the heat on the house got quite dry at night in the rooms you may want to bring a portable humidifier. Jason Perks, Grand Rapids, MI"

  • Outstanding property!

"Loved our recent visit to Asheville that was made perfect by our choice of "this home away from home". Beautifully appointed, well stocked, and conviently located it was everything as advertised and more. Especially enjoyed the two master bedroom setup, so important when traveling as two couples. Only disappointment was because of the time of year we weren't able to use the porch or enjoy the yard. Our lose but defineltly a reason to return. Thank you Britt and Gloria for setting the gold standard on a VRBO property."
