  • Not motorcycle friendly - but a fantastic stay

"This house had it all, a view, great amenities, excellent hosts, but if you are traveling via motorcycle that isn't meant for off-road, you're up for a challenge. The extensive, chunk-gravel drive off the main road, combined with two rutted and steep pitched hills, makes it extremely stressful for even the most seasoned Harley rider. Perhaps you park the bikes in-town and hitch a car ride with buddies to the house, but wanted to leave this honest review. The drive is a challenge for cars, even more so for bikes. But man. What a house! And if you're traveling into Asheville, you can get Ubers (don't drink and drive) from Marshall (not the house), but the Good Stuff bar is a great place to hang out, have a beer, and wait for your ride."

  • Absolutely Winderful

"This is the perfect Cabin in the perfect location. We wanted seclusion but close to Asheville and were surprised with this town of Weaverville only 10 min from Asheville. This little town has a beautiful downtown with great places to eat and shop along with the Blue Ridge Parkway a very short drive away. The cabin is at a Winderful location on a side of a hill and you can take a walk to the creek which is wonderful. Very high end cabin that is very warming inside. Does not feel like a vacation rental because it's not. The owners , which are local and very involved in Asheville put a lot of work into their cabin. Great Job!"

  • Cozy Hideaway

"My family enjoyed a Thanksgiving stay at this lovely cabin. It's cozy yet spacious. The beds are all very comfortable. The front porch has rocking chairs and a swing, and our morning coffee never tasted so good as waking up on the porch amidst the trees. The owners keep it spotless and well-stocked with thoughtful necessities you might have forgotten to bring. They provide all the supplies for a wonderful fire in the fireplace. It exceeded our expectations, and we hope to return some day. The owner is very gracious and helpful. Great location, great value."

  • Cozy and cute

"This cabin was adorable, and the layout worked well for three adults. The streets of the cabin development can be a little confusing, so follow Mary's directions and you won't have a problem finding the place (although I would probably recommend arriving during daylight hours on your first visit). The property was clean and in good repair, and the neighborhood was quiet. The master bath shower is a little small, so if you are a larger person, you would probably want to use the shower in the second bath. The good news is, you have options! Overall, this was a great place to stay and we would recommend it others."
