  • Wonderful, comfortable property.

"Very nice condo for a mini-vacation to Lake Erie with our two granddaughters. Exactly as described with no surprises. Very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable We had our space, and the girls had theirs. Convenient to Cedar Point, with a wonderful view from the patio. The Yeager's are excellent people to deal with. We would definitely use again. And we will refer others."

  • Our fun week at the lake starts with this great condo

"My family (me, wife, 17-year old son and his friend) had the good fortune of choosing this property for our week-long stay on the lake this year. The location was great, right on the lake next to the Jet Express terminal and close to a pretty cool downtown scene. Only minutes from everything we wanted to see, including Cedar Point. The condo was roomy (2 king beds+….plenty big for 6 people), clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. We used the pool and hot tub several days, and the presence of a roaming security staff on the weekends was a nice touch to make everyone feel safe and secure. The people were a mix of residents and renters, and the residents were very friendly and helpful, which is not always the case from my experience. We had a minor issue with the keys when we arrived but we were able to reach Steve the owner right away and he handled it quickly. This area of Sandusky was great, lots of terrific restaurants, coffee shops, consignment/antique/knick-knack shops, live music on the weekend, plus a nice walk along the lake. The dockside restaurant next door had great burgers and fresh walleye tacos, and Crush Winebar and Restaurant had a ton of great small plates for sampling… good we ate there twice. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, and we will certainly be checking here first before booking our lake trip for next year."

  • Highly recommend! We enjoyed our stay!

"Our first experience using VRBO since joining last year. Made last minute reservation due to change in plans. Originally planned short trip to Nashville to celebrate husbands 50th birthday, but bad weather forecast. First time staying in a private condo, as we usually opt for cabins. Asked for quote from owner and he was very flexible in price as we would be checking in that night. Arrived late first night so with owner Mark's guidance found restaurants open late and grocery shopped after. Made breakfast daily in the condo which was easy. We must have been one of the first guests because everything was still very brand new as far as bedding, towels, furniture, dishes, etc. Nice view overlooking the pool to the lake. We aren't pool people, but it's beautifully kept. If bring kids next time we would use it. Plush towels and bedding. Memory foam mattress was the best in comfort I have ever had staying anywhere. First time staying somewhere they provided more than enough towels! May seem silly, but to those who travel you know they never give you the right amount. If you book 3 nights for 2 people there should be 6 of everything. If at a hotel, you will never be given more than 2 days to start and must ask for more each day after. We pack extra towels, but was not needed here. Owner Mark was super friendly in all correspondence, and very helpful with information. Iron and ironing board came in handy as is something we always need when traveling. Also one of the few places with an actual decent size flat screen tv. I will give credit to owner Denise for her taste in décor! Very beachy bedroom and stylish, contemporary living room furniture was very comfortable and brand new as was plush carpet. Large bathroom, lots of storage and places to put luggage, quality hangers. Appreciated details of cleanliness and all new kitchenware. Glad to stay in a historic building with all modern amenities. Love the story to the history of the secured building and perk of gated parking lot. Owner Mark left us a complimentary bottle of wine sitting out with corkscrew and glasses to welcome us. Our first experience with needing deposit, but received all of it back thanks to owners. Cleaning fee takes the pressure off, but hopefully everyone cleans up after themselves like us. Mark is taking our suggestions of adding a stereo and alarm clock. We plan to return! Thank you Mark and Denise for a great little getaway!"
