  • Great family weekend

"Overall a great stay. We stayed 3 nights for a large family get together. The house was clean and well supplied. No problems with anything while we were there. Nothing fancy, the price was right and the 5 of us slept well. We did not spend a lot of time in the unit, mainly sleeping, breakfast, and relaxing upstairs after all our events of the day. Our family was spread out over Black Butte and we spent most of the time at other units which were larger. The description in the add is accurate, just remember the living area is up a few stairs above the kitchen dinning area. It is also not right on the golf course but is a short walk to the fairway. The kitchen is narrow so only one could comfortably cook at a time. All bedrooms had a separate bathroom so good for 3 couples. The owner was also nice to accommodate our short stay during peak season."

  • Perfect for a multigenerational getaway!

"We had such a lovely time in this beautiful home. Our group of eight included three generations from 58 years to 4 months. The upstairs was perfect for our son and his wife with their two young children. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a loft area with a sofa, coffee table, game closet, and television. One of the rooms has a closet big enough to store child-sized furniture. It was a wonderful area for them to have their own family space. We hope to stay here in the future and will bring a baby gate for the stairs for the little one who will be toddling around by then. The house overall has plenty of space to spread out or gather. Cedars pass became a favorite place to go with a book and a cup of coffee. The decks look out to the woods and there is a view of the meadow between the trees. We loved cooking and eating together and have never had such sharp knives in a rental kitchen! The kitchen had everything we could have wanted. We were fortunate with the weather and had some wonderful, warm days that were perfect for swimming, cycling, and enjoying the beautiful decks. Our 3-year-old grandson LOVED the tour of the fire station that occurs every Wednesday morning and riding the gentle horse that his daddy lead around the arena! I also want to say how easy Diane made the rental experience. I appreciated working with her."

  • Great location, perfect for families

"We really enjoyed staying here. The location is ideal- extremely close to pools, parks, golfing. It is on a culdesac like street, so we could let the kids out to play and ride bikes without worrying about them but could easily see them through the large picture windows or while sitting on the lovely deck. Plenty of countertop to work on, large bathrooms- just a nice open space with one level living! I would stay here again. Only draw back was the master bed was a little uncomfortable, but I own a temporpedic mattress.;) Friendly owner. Definitely worth a visit."

  • Very well-stocked

"It was a nice surprise to experience that the home was very well-stocked with everything we needed (spices, soap, shampoo, etc). We have a lovely time. Nice quaint cabin-home feel. The wood stove was a highlight."
