  • Thanksgiving Holidays at Helen's Hide Inn

"We just spent a relaxing Thanksgiving holidays at Helen’s Hide Inn. There were 12 of us from three different families. We picked Helen’s Hide Inn because it was centrally located between the families and it had the bedrooms (5) and baths (5) that we needed. The Inn was very comfortable for all of us with a large family room and two full kitchens. The furnishings are comfortable and the downstairs rooms are large so that our large group never felt cramped. The day after Thanksgiving we visited the Frank Lloyd Wright house at Falllingwater, which I highly recommend. The only issues to be aware of is that the house is next to a busy road so at night you can hear the cars passing. Also the bedrooms are small but adequate since if you are there you will want spend your time in the family room or outside. I highly recommend Helen’s Hide Inn and look forward to going there next year."

  • Enjoyable Family Get Together

"Casablanca was the ideal selection for our family's long weekend get together in September. Family members came from Ohio and Maryland, and we needed a place that was centrally located for everyone. The condo was tastefully decorated, the kitchen well stocked, and it provided plenty of room for our family to relax and enjoy each other's company. The deck was quite scenic and tranquil in the evenings, with all the surrounding trees and nature. We enjoyed visiting several places on the list of local attractions that Ziv provided. I had trouble opening the lock box, but Ziv was quick to respond to my call and made sure I was able to get in. He was also very responsive last fall when we rented Casabella, a smaller condo he owns. We needed a place to stay without any notice to attend a funeral in the area, and he responded immediately to my inquiry. This trip was definitely on more pleasant circumstances. We would definitely return to Casablanca again for our next family get together. Thank you, Ziv, for an enjoyable outing."

  • Great Family Vacation Rental

"A stone's throw from Seven Springs Ski Resort, this place was the perfect, cozy location for a birthday ski weekend. The house was just the right size so that everyone (9 adults, 1 toddler and 2 infants) could be under one roof yet not be on top of each other the entire time. Not to mention the view was incredible! The property manager was very kind and prompt in her communication throughout the entire rental process and the owner was extremely nice -- thoughtful enough to walk us through the entire house and make sure we knew how everything worked. We all really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this rental."

  • On Campbell Pond

"Words can’t describe the serenity and beauty of this quiet retreat. The cottage is better than described and the grounds and pond are just beautiful. So much thought has been put into creating a relaxing atmosphere. Bird feeders, hummingbird feeders, bird houses and lots more – there is something to enjoy outside of every window. The “sun room” or the deck is where we spent most of our time, watching the birds, animals and the pond. We saw deer each morning feeding among the grasses along the pond and wandering the walking trails. And there are lots of walking trails mowed short to allow for easy hikes all over the property. There are seating areas all around the grounds. Flowers were everywhere as well as the fields of wildflowers. A vase of wildflowers and a nice “welcome back” note greeted us upon our arrival. (Dan had been here once already in the early Spring.) Everything was clean and fresh. Mona and Bryon are available if you have any questions or need assistance. We were here during a rather hot spell in Pittsburgh. But at the cottage the temperature was comfortable and the air conditioner in the loft kept the entire cottage cool. The deck is a great place to sit and read or talk. Fishing off the dock was a relaxing past time. And the beautiful water lilies on the pond amazed us each day as they opened in the morning and closed in the late afternoon. Thanks for sharing this little gem so close to our home in Pittsburgh. We will definitely return. Kathy and Dan"
