  • Your own little slice of heaven!

"From the moment we arrived until the very sad moment we had to say goodbye to the place we called home for 5 days; we were in complete bliss. Breakwater Village is a fabulous place for the kids to ride their bikes and just be kids with out the hassle of worrying about traffic. the few cars that do go by are driving at a snails pace. We felt very safe letting our kids play catch in the "road" in front the cottage. The cottage itself is very homey and has everything you could need on a beach vacation and more! My family of 4 was very comfortable, never feeling like there wasn't enough room. Cara was very friendly and responsive when we called her. As for the view, there is no other view more beautiful than the sunsets on Point Judith. Absolutely breathtaking. People lined the streets and beach to watch the sun retreat for the day with drink in hand nightly. Everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. The private beach was fantastic. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a respite from reality and enjoy a few days in paradise."

  • Great Location...Close to Beach...

"What a location, we visited during low season in the middle of June 2016. House was as pictured, literally only 300 feet to the beach. Took in watching the sunset each night, just steps away at the end of the street. No lifeguards at the beach, but private and nicely maintained. Great family friendly location (Breakwater Village) with very limited parking. Can imagine it would get overrun with children and families in the middle of summer. We had two kids with us and they LOVED finding and playing with new children. House had a queen and a set of bunks. Washer and dryer was very helpful located in the basement. Fridge had an icemaker in it, Dishwasher was nice too. Not much silverware, glasses, or coffee mugs so we had to run the washer after every meal to have enough for the next meal. Plenty of storage and a nice big fridge. Grill in backyard worked great. Not much grass, but a picnic table for eating outside. Could have used an umbrella out there though. It's breakwater Village, the houses are tight and grass is non-existent. Your trade off is being so close to a great beach! Towels and sheets we requested were there upon arrival. Only thing that could be improved upon is the outdoor shower. Enclosed, with hot water, however one side is just a shower curtain that blew so much that it stuck to our legs or opened and the neighbors got a nice show...House was clean but "lived in", typical of a full time beach rental, some cobwebs, need of paint and spackle, but very close to the beach. Nw couch downstairs and the mattresses were comfy. Easy to overlook these things when you are so close. All in all, a great place. We will check it out in the thick of the summer to see how nutty it gets...parking a big issue so come with one car or grab a visitor spot early and don't more the car! Thanks for a great visit!"

  • Perfect escape

"This was our second year here. We love it. The house is clean, spacious, and the view is spectacular. It's close to the beach and everything in Narragansett. Can't wait until next year!!"

  • clean, relaxing, welcoming Beach Bungalow

"This was out 2nd stay, but 1st with Tim and Bev as hosts. Tim checked in with us before, during and after stay to ensure that our every need was met. Cottage is fully updated....cleaner than my house! Air conditioners in the bedrooms were much appreciated, we slept well every night. Panoramic views of the beach, channel (ferry boats, sailing and fishing vessels), cliffs covered with beach roses, and wonderful sunsets. Walked to the lighthouse every morning and enjoyed walking to the fisherman's memorial as well. God blessed us with wonderful weather. We know that there is a lot to do in the area, but we totally enjoyed a relaxing week of doing "a lot of nothing". With the cottage, the beach, the cliffside benches, the lighthouse, fisherman's memorial, and a few good books, we had all we needed to do just that. There were also numerous establishments who (for a small fee) were glad to supply us with dinner, enjoying their view or ours! We would highly recommend this wonderful cottage at Breakwater Village."
