  • Bankshia Cottage is a quaint little home adjacent to the owners property

"Victoria and David are very gracious owners of this cute little cottage located right in the heart of Charleston SC. My husband and I stayed at the Cottage for about a month so that we can get away from the cold Midwest & experience warmth in the historic town of Charleston SC. Charleston is a diverse cultural town with lots of activity & so much history. The roots of Charleston go back as far as the 1700's. There was no limit in the things we can do. We took a Harbor Tour, Carriage Ride, ran the Art Ravenal Bridge, walked King, Calhoun & Meeting Street. We are at many restaurants & even grilled on the charming patio. The Aquarium & Fort Sumter Memorial are with in close proximity to the property. If you like parks, Water Front (where the Pineapple Fountain is located) and White Point Garden are amazing parks. Marion Square is also another park located a couple of blocks away & they have a Farmers Market from 9-1 on Saturdays. Locals come from all over to prepare unique meals, a host of art & produce. The City Market is located between East Bay & Meeting & runs pretty much every day where you can experience even more local art, jewelry & the customs of Charleston. Overall, we had an amazing time in Charleston & this Cottage suited our needs perfectly. I am sure that we will be coming back in the future."

  • perfect house for four....Everyone had their own space including the use of the porch

"The house was in a great location. We really enjoyed our time in Charleston and always felt welcomed into our living space when the day was over. Frank was very helpful in directing us to great places to eat and drink. If given the opportunity I would be delighted to stay there again. Jackie"
