  • Fabulous!!!!!

"Joan and I had an amazing honeymoon week at Eva and David's villa. It was perfect and so close to the beach. I think our favorite thing was how comfortable we felt there...sort of like being in our own home. Eva and David were so easy to work with and took care of everything. We're definitely coming back. LOVED it!!!"

  • June Kiowa Trip

"Excellent setting and convenient. Everything within the cottage was in good working order. Loved the Weber grill. The only heads up for future renters is about the beach chairs. They are hardly worth carrying to the beach. Aside from that, it the cottage met or exceeded our expectations!"

  • Beautiful cottage convenient to beach and pool

"This was our second year staying at Sukhavati. We love this cottage. It is beautifully decorated, well-stocked and very clean. it is a short walk or bike ride to the beach or the pool and dock. The owner is very attentive to your needs and keeping her cottage well-maintained. Love the gas grill on the deck- especially since it rained during our grilling times this year. We had a great week and hope to stay here next year!"

  • Perfect for Two families

"This cottage is a casual and comfortable "old world Kiawah" house located directly across from the walkway to the beach. Our group consisted of extended family (cousins) that included three teenagers, four middle aged adults, and one grandma. The layout of the house allowed us to put the kids at one end and all of the adults at the other end for peace and quiet. Everyone in the group fell in love with the private outdoor shower and that became the "real" shower of choice for many of us. The kitchen was well-equipped and supported preparation of nice dinners every night. The screened-in front porch had an ocean view and was a favorite spot for morning coffee. Given the home's proximity to the beach, it was easy to run back and forth for food, drinks or bathroom breaks. The walk to the beach (mostly decked) was do-able for an older person as well. The Atlantic in August shocked us with its 85 degree temperatures it was like being in the Caribbean. And with respect to the August heat and humidity, the home's air conditioning withstood the challenge of our big group. Ceiling fans in each room and on the screened front porch also helped to keep all of the spaces comfortable. All in all, we really enjoyed this house and would recommend it highly to those looking for a down to earth Kiawah experience."
