  • What an amazing vacation home

"Having been to Hilton Head for the last 20 years and renting condos - this year my daughter wanted a small wedding at HH so we started looking a houses and we found this gem on VRBO! The pictures are a true representation of what you see is what you get. Marc truly takes the headaches out of your vacation. When he says all you need is food and clothes he really means it. Marc and his staff are so amazing to work with. We could not be happier. The kitchen is stock with everything so you don't have to go out and buy all kinds of spices, oils and other items to get set up for the week. Our families really enjoyed the espresso machine. The location is great too. Very close to all amenities and lots of nice stores and restaurants. Marc stopped by the house to make sure everything was good and to let us know if we needed anything all we had to do was call. I would recommend renting from Marc you will not be disappointed."

  • Nice but not perfect.

"Pluses: VERY convenient location (though a small amount of noise comes along with that), comfy beds, the living spaces were comfy and larger than they looked in the photos. Everything turned out well for our group of 17. Minuses: when we arrived the water in the fridge door was TRICKLING out and the "change filter" sign was lighted. We called right away about that and a few other items (broken kitchen chair, no potholders..). They fixed the other but said the filter wouldn't be in until the end of the week (our day of departure). For our group, this alone was worth a star as it was painful filling all the water glasses because it was soooo slow The workman did come over the out first full day to fix the little things mentioned above. But it turned out they also had another punch list which involved him being there most of the day and making lots of racket. Would have been nice if they had done that before we arrived. Nice things to improve would be more towel hooks in the bathrooms or bedrooms and a steamer basket for the kitchen. Also we were told not to use the fireplace. Since we were there in December we would have enjoyed that. Thanks."

  • End of year getaway

"Great location, close to restaurants and shopping. Right on beach with spectacular view. Had a little blip when arrived but was fairly compensated. New TV, DVD player was not compatible. Overall a great place to stay, would book again!"

  • A good experience

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked a condo in The Breakers through Hilton Head Hideaways. Our check-in time was 5:00 pm, but we received an e-mail earlier in the afternoon that the unit was available ahead of schedule. Hilton Head Hideaways encouraged us to download its app; we opted not to and were still able to proceed with our reservation without hindrance. Upon booking the unit, we received a four-digit code we would use to enter the unit at all times (there was no key or key card). A folder containing tourism brochures and a parking pass was on the kitchen counter when we entered. Our unit had a balcony with a sliding glass door that afforded a view of the pool and the beach. We never used the pool, opting instead to go to the beach every day of our visit. The Breakers is conveniently located, and we only used our car to go to dinner (although there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance) and to Publix (a small Piggly Wiggly is located in the shopping mall across the street). We walked to Pedals to rent bicycles and were able to lock them in the complex's racks when we were not using them. Our stay at The Breakers was comfortable and convenient. We would stay there again, and we would recommend it to prospective visitors looking for a beachfront unit."
