  • Perfection in Low Country

"We have been treated to this Romantic Getaway from our home in steamy Florida on 4 occasions. Each time is better than the last as we have fallen in love with Made for Memories and The Low Country. The people in Pawleys Island continue to amaze us with their wont to please and a continuous upgrade for shopping, dining, golf, fishing, etc. There is even a new Publix and Fresh Market in town. Now for the amenities at MFM. Our last visit included fresh paint all around, new upgrades for video game lovers, new tv in the master bedroom, additions to the kitchen tools, (as if more tools were needed), new screens on the outside decks and new washer and dryer! We finally made it to the observation tower for sunning and admiring the scenery! Each visit amazes us with the upgrades to an already perfect getaway. Prior reviews, with one exception, have always been raving about the conditions and a desire by the owner to provide the best for themselves and their guests. Perhaps the exception was short sighted. We have been delighted and are so excited to be returning next month! Doesn't that say it all?"

  • Great location!

"Nice condo, great location and very nice facilities. Proximity to both beach and pool is wonderful for young children. Will be renting again. Owners easy to work with and receptive to feedback."

  • Very spacious & clean~super place to vacation

"The Townhouse was very nice & clean. We comfortably slept 8 adults & 2 teens (on an air mattress) there. The bathrooms are modern & spacious. Tons of closet space & plenty of hangers too, but if you have a large group you may want to take some extra towels. Grocery stores are very close as are many restaurants. We really enjoyed the Island Bar & Grill on Ocean Hwy for a laid back, uncrowded dinner. The pool was very nice & spacious, walking distance from the townhouse. The only thing I did not like was the fact that you have to leave Pawley's Plantation & drive to the beach. It's less than 2 miles but that was not very clear before we arrived. Pawleys Plantation is very peaceful & serene. Great place to relax for a few days even if you do not play golf. We had a great family get a way without having to deal with traffic & noise."

  • Wonderful Place to Stay

"We came down for an 80th birthday with our family, including grandsons and 2 dogs. I have to say that Anchor In is a true gem of a house. We never felt like we were in a hotel, rather we were at home. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you need. The walk to the beach is so easy even with two grandchildren under the age of 2. The house is very comfortable and has all the modern comforts. The screened porch was a big hit as well as sitting on the front of the house. Having 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs provided a great place for the grandsons to stay with their family. Also, being dog friendly was great for us. The dogs loved the beach and the walks that they took. I highly recommend Anchor In"
