  • Great Getaway

"My family & I had a great time at this Litchfield By the Sea condo. It was very nice. This was a vacation for us to see my family that lives in Florida, we met here for a week stay. The weather wasn't the best for the beach, but we made the best of it. The fully equipped kitchen was great for our dining in needs. Everything was great (except the weather). Thank you for the pleasure of sharing your rental with us. Stacey B. West Newton, PA"

  • Absolutely Beautiful

"My wife and I rented this condo for the entire month of February 2016 and we echo the positive comments of others in this forum. The condo is immaculately furnished, clean, quiet and has a spectacular golf course view that repeatedly draws you to the large living room window and the balcony. We spent many hours sitting on the screened balcony and watching golfers make their approach shots and then putting on the 17th green of the True Blue Golf Course. True Blue itself is a little on the expensive side but there are many beautiful courses in the immediate area and various deals are available, often depending on the time of day. If you are a golfer and would like a little refresher or some help with a specific part of your game, the Steve Dresser Golf Academy is just a short walk from the front door of the condo and offers a variety of lesson plans. We took an afternoon clinic and picked up some valuable tips. The February weather was a mix of cold temperatures, some rain and sun. On the rainy days, we were quite comfortable to remain in the condo and enjoy reading, computing or watching television. The Pawley's area is away from the crazy commercialism of Myrtle Beach but has all the stores and shops you need close at hand. We love nature and walking. We spent many days walking the beach and visiting the Huntington Beach State Park and the spectacular Brookgreen Gardens which is directly across the road from the park. We loved Brookgreen so much that we made a second full-day visit. It is a must see, full of breathtaking sculptures, beautiful walking paths and wildlife (including alligators). Even in the month of February it was a gorgeous place; we can only imagine how amazing it must be when spring comes and everything is in full bloom. We love the people of South Carolina. This was our second visit to the state and everywhere we went we were met with warm smiles and friendly conversation. Our stay included a quick drive down to Charleston where we undertook a self-guided tour of this historic city. This is another must do activity if you enjoy walking and history. The condo owners are super friendly and helpful. You couldn't ask for better folks to help you with your stay. If our future travels have us returning to South Carolina we would certainly try to reserve here again. We have no hesitation in giving the owners and their condo a five-star rating."

  • Perfect for my family

"This house was absolutely perfect for my family of three grown children with spouses and three grandchildren...ages 17, 10, and soon to be three. The youngest child had her first experience with the ocean and beach and loved it! She wanted to live there (which, of course, I would love to be able to do myself). The location of the house could not have been better. There was enough parking for 5 vehicles and 3 boats. Five of the seven adults love fishing and we all enjoyed crabbing on the creek. (The fish and crabs provided a very nice seafood meal while we were there). Being able to walk straight out on the beach was great for all of us. Obviously, having the creek available just across the street provided lots of entertainment for all is us. Pawley's provided lots of shopping and good restraurants in the area for those of us that didn't spend all of our time fishing. Wish we could have stayed a lot longer. Our week was wonderful and the owners were very helpful! I am definitely happy to recommend this house to anyone."
