  • Wonderful Place to Stay

"We came down for an 80th birthday with our family, including grandsons and 2 dogs. I have to say that Anchor In is a true gem of a house. We never felt like we were in a hotel, rather we were at home. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you need. The walk to the beach is so easy even with two grandchildren under the age of 2. The house is very comfortable and has all the modern comforts. The screened porch was a big hit as well as sitting on the front of the house. Having 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs provided a great place for the grandsons to stay with their family. Also, being dog friendly was great for us. The dogs loved the beach and the walks that they took. I highly recommend Anchor In"

  • We will be back!

"Wonderful home in beautiful surroundings. Secluded enough to enjoy nature yet close to amenities - a perfect fit for our family. The house itself is updated and stocked with everything we could've possibly needed... even a rolling pin for impromptu baking! The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely stay - we will be back!"

  • Great location, great house

"6 ladies rented this house for 4 nights for our 25th annual girls' getaway. It was perfect......plenty of space, close to the beach, attractions and restaurants. The house is big enough that we could have easily fit more people. The screened porch was the most used space, and we appreciated having a dedicated game table for cards. A metal spiral stairway accesses the lower level which was no issue for us, but could be for some. We liked the fact that it is set amongst the trees with plenty of shade and privacy. There was a bit of a musty odor upon arrival, but it quickly resolved. We visited Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park, each just minutes away. One evening we drove to North Myrtle Beach to have dinner and see a show at the Alabama Theater. Although listed on VRBO it is managed by a real estate company. They could not have been any nicer or more helpful, even sending an employee immediately when we lost the key on the beach and locked ourselves out."

  • Outstanding Place to Stay!

"We loved your condo! It was perfect!! Everything we needed (and then some) was stocked/provided. Location was great ....the resort was quiet and well-maintained. Loved that parking was never an issue, our spots were always open. Furnishings were comfortable and beautiful. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to return :) Thanks Marge and Greg."
