"My first stay in a cabin. They had everything you could need. Only two staying for the trip but the cabin could accommodate so many more comfortably. Modern amenities and decorated beautifully. Plenty of kitchen gadgets and serve ware. There is quite a bit of privacy, but you can see the surrounding houses from the porch. Pretty creek on the land, and I was able to see several deer feeding near the pond. Customer service was the best! Highly recommended rental!"

  • Relaxing

"Went for a relaxing getaway and that is exactly what I got. Peace and quiet, and a couple visits a day from Casey (dog) to let us know we are welcome. Would love to visit again."

  • From Seattle with Love

"We have stayed at Piney Creek Cabins on several occasions! The Cabins are so neat ! Surrounded by trees and wildlife... Deer come to the pond in the mornings so neat to see them ! The rustic feel is so comforting. I will be planning on staying there again on my next trip to Tennessee. The owners were so nice and welcoming to us"

  • PERFECT Relaxing Getaway!

"We were a family of 4 adults and 3 children staying for 5 days at this beautiful Homeplace. Driving onto River Canyon Road and up to the Homeplace was almost surreal for us. The views and peacefulness of this area is just astounding. The Homeplace was PERFECT. The character of this house really makes you feel you are home. Beautiful old wooden floors, vintage furniture and spectacular views over the River. We sat outside and dawn and dusk watching the fog rolling over the mountains and the bats flying around looking for food, crickets chirping and sweet old "Tag", the dog, tagging along with us everywhere we went. We fell in love with him! We fished on the river most afternoons and caught some nice sized catfish and perch. We bbq'd most nights as well sitting on the back porch watching the sun go down... The drive into lookout mountain was easy and only took about 20 minutes. There is a Walmart and other shops plus a great little BBQ place just off River Canyon Road(10 min max). The Homeplace is far enough from the city to give you that peaceful countryside feel and close enough to drive into if you want more cosmopolitan activities. Chattanooga city is very pretty and charming. Overall I can honestly say this has been a wonderfully memorable vacation because of picking The Homeplace to stay and everything it offered to make you comfortable while there. I almost cried when it was time to leave, we definitely plan to come back! Thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful home with us, you have a diamond! The Corley's"
