  • Time For Two - Cabin

"My wife and I heard about Tipton cabins from a coworker and he described how much fun he and his wife had while staying there. The "Time For Two" cabin was perfect for us as we are outdoors people and were looking for a quiet area to take a vacation. The Smokey Mountain National Park is just a short ride down the road which you and use to get to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We trailered our motorcycle and we are so glad that we did. The area is great for riding. The cabin had a hot tub on the deck and a Jacuzzi tub in the cabin. Everything was clean and very organized. The cabin is also tucked back into the woods so you can't see any neighbors or the road but local restaurants are a few minutes away. Being that the cabin was fully furnished and had a charcoal grill, we took advantage of getting a few groceries at a store and stuff to grill. It was very relaxing to come back to after a long day of seeing the area and the mountains. We are already talking about making a return trip at some point. Thank you Tipton Cabins for your hospitality."

  • Nice private cabin near the Smoky Mountains

"We enjoyed our stay at Campfire Lodge. It is in a good location - in between the attractions at Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains parks and hiking. It is very private and has paved roads leading up to it (although they are extremely narrow). It has a nice yard with a campfire pit and seating. We even saw a black bear walking around the yard the last day we were there, which was exciting. The hot tub is nice and the deck is very large. Inside there is plenty of room for dining and cooking. It could use some TLC - wall paper is peeling off of many walls, the main shower door doesn't close, and the pool table and ping pong table were both in pretty bad shape. The pest control comes once a month (we saw the receipts), but we still got some bad spider bites at night, which is par for the course when you are so close to the woods. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend this cabin to families or anyone else looking for a peaceful get away."

  • Peaceful

"What a wonderful location! It was nice to not be in the hustle of Pigeon Forge and other big areas but to be close enough to enjoy. The river was cold but fun and entertaining"
