  • Awesome

"Thank you Mike and Jan for sharing your home with us. It is beautiful with breath taking views. The location of your home is perfect, it's close to everything. This was a family vacation and the kids really liked the variety of games throughout the house. There was so much to do in the area, there just wasn't enough time. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our bed was very comfortable and that's usually a problem when we stay away from home. You have it decorated so beautiful. I will definitely be coming back."

  • Beautiful cabin and courteous owners!

"We loved our stay at the mistress! The cabin itself was clean, and had everything we needed to cook our meals for our 5-day/4-night stay. It's located at the tip-top of the mountain, tucked in a wooded area. It's an interesting/winding drive up there, but after a couple times, we had it figured out. Bonnie and Chancy were very kind and responsive. I highly recommended staying at the mistress!"

  • A Nice Cabin with Fantastic Views

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Dreamview. Overall, it worked well for our family of five. PROS * The views are simply spectacular and the cabin takes advantage of that asset. There are lots of windows facing the mountains and the two decks are great. * The location was great. It is super close to Dollywood (you can hear the steam train and see the coasters) and also close to the Smokeys (30 minutes) and Gatlinburg. * The cabin is in good shape and everything is reasonably well maintained. This is still a cabin, though, so don't expect the Ritz Carleton. * We really enjoyed the hot tub that looks out into the Smokeys. * There are some nice anenities for the kids -- billiards, foosball, PlayStation, fast wifi, and cable tv. * The property manager lives close by and was very responsive. She even made us a cake which the kids enjoyed. CONS There were lots of small, simple things that can be improved upon. * The kitchen is functional, but missing some basics. We cooked a little and wish we had things like wash cloths and sponges, some more utensils, and a folding chair. It was a workable situation, but it could have been better. * You'll have to take into account that the place isn't huge. So if you have a group more than two people, someone will have to sleep in the loft and there isn't a ton of privacy. Once one person wakes up, it is hard for others to stay sleeping. You also can't do laundry or run the dishwasher at night. * The hot tub is great, but we didn't have enough towels. * Please get better toilet paper! :)"

  • The perfect place!

"This cabin was everything we were looking for! The view is amazing, and the cabin is in a great location very close to both pigeon forge, and Gatlinburg. My now fiancé and I enjoyed the beautiful deck where I asked her to marry me! This was a trip of a life time, and we will for sure return to make even more great memories. A big thanks to Steve for sharing your beautiful cabin with us! We will return!"
