  • Great place, perfect location!

"Nice place, great value. Perfect location. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again. Not the most luxurious place, but it is a well maintained and very nice for the price. Ideally located for a ski vacation. Although best situated for Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, or Solitude, Park City is close enough that we skied Snowbird until it closed then had dinner in Park City."

  • Clean, comfortable, convenient

"We stayed at this house in a residential neighborhood as part of three couples who met for a week of skiing. The location was great, close to both Little Cottonwood and Big Cottonwood Canyons. We also drove to Deer Valley and Snowbasin, about 1 hour away. Smiths supermarket only blocks away. And 10 minutes from a local ski shop where we could buy some discount lift tickets. We cooked dinner almost every night, and this kitchen was large and was well supplied with everything we needed to cook with. Dining room easily sat 6 people. The house was immaculately cleaned before we moved in, and there was new soap, shampoo, conditioner, and even hand lotion in the bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. The master bedroom was very spacious. Big screen TV, fussball, and pool table entertained us. There is another bed upstairs in the large game room area which was screened off for privacy, so another couple could sleep there (although there would be a small extra charge for more than 6 people.) There is also a west facing deck with a view of Salt Lake City where we sat and had beer and appetizers every night after skiing. The hot tub was cleaned just before we arrived (by the property manager who lives downstairs) so was not available the first night. It worked beautifully the other nights, though, and it was fun to sit there and watch the alpenglow on the mountains and see the lights flicker on down in the valley. The bathrooms had many extra towels which we could use for the hot tub. The only thing I would mention is that there is a friendly (but quite large) Great Dane who lives in the downstairs property. He would come outside in the evening while we were in the hot tub to greet us. If you are afraid of dogs, you would want to tell the property manager about that, so that she could keep the dog away from you."

  • Great Spring Stay, Everything We Needed and More!

"Rented the unit for a spring ski trip for 5 of us (plus another couple who thought they might stay a night or two) and had more than enough space. The upstairs and downstairs units are not connected inside, and we would have been OK with just the 3 bedrooms upstairs (although one is a bunk bed room). Great hot tub and fenced in back yard, overall a great stay!"

  • Best Trip Ever!

"The Bluff Ski Home is a lovely and spacious ski home that easily accommodated our 3 families of 16 people. It is well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen, 3 living rooms good for a large group, comfy firm beds and an AMAZING view overlooking the entire Salt Lake Valley best viewed from the large Hot Tub while we soaked our tired leg! The home is right at the entry to the resort access road to Snowbird and Alta, but also just 2-3 minutes to the other canyon road to Solitude and Brighton. Quick 1-5 minute drive to grocery, restaurants, and any other shopping. We've stayed at many VRBO's in Colorado, but we will definitely stay at this home again for any of our future ski trips due to a great home, Utah ‘s better snow, and convenience from the airport (just 25 minutes, NOT 2.5 hours), and a great home. The owner was very nice and made our reservation process simple, and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay and if there was anything we needed. He sold some of us his “superpass” lift ticket that works at any of the resorts we went to and we found that it saved us a lot. You will not be disappointed if you stay at the Bluff Ski Home! See you next year! :)"
