  • 5 Firefighters on a motorcycle vacation

"First off, let me say that if you are considering renting a home in this area for your vacation....look no further, you found the best one there is. The location is great. It is about an 1.5 + hours from Las Vegas.....15-20 minutes from Zion (my favorite national park ever).....Bryce Canyon and the N. Rim of the Grand Canyon are also an easy drive. Springdale is about 15 minutes down the road, bordering Zion, it offers great recreational rental shops, souvenir shops, restaurants...etc. La Verkin and Hurricane, as well as the larger city of St George, are also a short drive away. The house is absolutely AMAZING...it is downright beautiful. You will hate to have to leave here. Everything works as it should, AC, showers, bathrooms, pool, Tv, FIRE LOG....everything is top notch! The rooms are spacious, clean and well designed. The pool and the hot tub are a welcomed relief after a long day traveling or hiking. Myself and 4 brother firefighters rented here for 5 nights and used the property as "home base" for our daily motorcycle adventures. We rode over a 1000 miles during our stay and it was great knowing that we had this place to come home to after a of hiking and riding. The owners were great and easy to work with. We never got to meet the property manager, because nothing ever went wrong!!! The 5 of us were usually fast asleep by 10 pm each night...which is unusual for 5 firefighters hanging out together...but with a house this relaxing and comfortable....it was easy to do. ........Just do it...don't wait, you wont regret it!........"

  • Great Stay

"My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Rich and Melody's home in La Verkin while touring Zion. It met all our needs. The property was clean and homey, plenty of hot water, a great kitchen for preparing meals, the bed was comfortable, and it was so nice to have a washer and dryer. Rich and Melody were quick to respond to emails and were a pleasure to deal with. It was only about a 20 minute drive to Zion. Great coming back to the peacefulness of La Verkin after hiking with the crowds in Zion. Start your hikes early to beat the masses. Do not miss hiking The Narrows. Absolutely amazing! Be sure and rent gear for the hike. We used Zion Guru. You will not be disappointed if you rent this property!"

  • Exactly what we needed

"This is the perfect house for a large group. It has a very good location off the main road, just a few doors down from the local market. The decor won't win any design awards, but the house is huge and very pleasant. The kitchen dining and living area works really well. There were six women doing meal prep at times and we all had space. The beds were comfortable and everything was extremely clean and orderly. The owner was exceptional throughout the process. She was consistently responsive and helpful."

  • Amazing House Right Next to Zion Park

"We booked this home through the Cliffrose Lodge (next door to the home) but somehow they screwed up and never gave the reservation to the owner. We did however call the owner before we arrived and fortunately the home was not reserved yet and she took care of everything. The house is within walking distance of the park and is absolutely amazing. It is also on the Virgin River. The only complaint was about the queen bed off the living room. It was too soft for my sister in law so she had to sleep on the couch. The downstairs bedroom with the queen is more like a studio apartment (without a kitchen) and we loved that. Booking this home also included all the amenities at the Cliffrose Lodge including free breakfast that was pretty good. Eggs, breakfast meat, potatoes, breakfast burritos, cereals, breads/bagels, muffins, yogurts, milk, juice etc. I would highly recommend the Hummingbird Villa for anyone wanting to visit Zion. We would rent again in a heartbeat."
