  • Beautiful, peaceful, well appointed

"a reunion of eight families met here for a week of fun. I was nervous about fitting in so many people in one property but the house absorbed us all with room to spare! There was plenty of space, the hottub and sauna were fantastic, the kitchen, grill and commercial grade stove were used constantly and made cooking a real pleasure. We stayed in the master bedroom and it was a real luxury. Killington is a great location with mountains galore to climb and good swimming locations nearby. It was close enough to Rutland for shopping trips, but remote enough for quiet evenings and a wonderful feeling of isolation. We're Vermonters, but everyone else who joined us were coming from the Midwest. They loved the place and want to come back every year! The owners were very helpful and responsive with information and tips. There was a small issue with the hot tub (mostly because of my inexperience with them) and they were extremely helpful. Thanks for a great week. I would definitely recommend it to anyone."

  • Clean, modern, cozy, and perfect location!

"I have been skiing at Pico my entire life, and we have usually stayed at the same house every year. This year I found out our normal rental wasn't available, and I took a chance and rented this condo. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed! It's much larger than the pictures show, and was very clean and comfortable. It's also completely renovated and mixes modern touches with comfort. We loved it! All the linens were provided, and so was a large stash of firewood for cozy fires at night. Also, the location couldn't be better! We wound up driving over to Killington a couple days (since Pico was closed) and that wasn't an issue at all. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning next year! Thanks, Drew!"

  • Mountain Fun

"My family and I spent a week in Elaine's property while we were vacationing in Stowe. We have rented numerous vacation properties over the years in the US and Europe and this one was at the very top of the stack! The overall house was large and well laid out: my teenage kids could spread out and still be away from the common areas. The kitchen and family room were large and well appointed, and the property was situated such that we had fantastic 270 degree views of the mountains. (Winter and Fall must be awesome!) We took advantage of the nearby gondola to take the easy way up to Mount Mansfield, and there were more hiking trails within two miles of the house than we could have managed in a month. There is really good downhill and cross-country mountain biking within an hour of Stowe, but biking in the local area was good, too, and offered more variety for well maintained trails and roads. Stowe Village was a few minutes away by car, but the break from that traffic turned out to be nice and all of the better family oriented and upper end restaurants were between Stowe resort and the village of Stowe anyway, so we thought the property was more convenient than when we were actually staying in Stowe. We ended up grilling and cooking at home most times anyway because the views were better and we couldn't get enough of being so closely connected to the great outdoors on the balcony at the foot of the mountains. Overall, our family consensus was that this was the best place we'd ever stayed and if we ever go back to Stowe, we wouldn't consider any other property!"

  • JACKPOT!

"Over the years we have rented numerous properties but this one is a stand out! The house is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. Our multigenerational family group found everything we needed from highchairs to a massage chair! Most importantly the owners were most helpful and easily accessible. Not only was it well located for the skiers in our group but it was also very convenient for the skaters, sledders and shoppers. The house lent itself easily to cooking and serving family meals. We also had the occasional apres ski treat of walking into the village for drinks and fine dining. I rate this property a 10 out of 10. We plan to rent again next year."
