  • Great Weekend Get-Away

"This is the fourth year my husband and our friends have rented this home. We have been coming to Vermont for the last 10 years. Our group has included 4 couples and this has been the best place to accommodate us comfortably. We fit in a day of skiing at Stratton which is only about 25 minutes away. We discovered The Raven's Den last year and made sure to hit that up for dinner this time around. We highly recommend it for a meal out or even just to stop in for a drink after a day of shopping at the outlets. We love the access to hiking trail right behind the house. Half the group conquered it this year and made it to the lake at the top of the mountain. The homeowner is extremely responsive and easy to work with to make arrangements. It is obvious he takes great pride in the home by how it is maintained. We are already looking forward to coming back next year!"

  • This home is a great place if you want quiet and serenity.

"We had to revamp our vacation due to hurricane matthew and decided on Vermont. This chalet is large and spacious with plenty of room and space for everyone. Everyone had their own floor to themselves for quiet time. It is so quiet and dark at night which was perfect for us as we were all looking to relax and recharge. Kitchen is pretty well stocked, could use some new pans. Laundry, linens and towels were nice to have there. The property was wonderful to walk around to soak in the beautiful fall colors. The landscape was breathtaking- we visited at the peak of fall foliage. Be sure to try the muffins at the Wells country store. Delicious!! We would recommend this chalet and the owner was very thorough in communication with us."

  • A beautiful, welcoming home for a family gathering

"Our family came together for a few days in Rupert Vermont to spend relaxing time together. There was conversation, games, laughter and - of course cooking. The house is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. It was just a short drive to Manchester [check out the Northshire Bookstore]. Our two year-old granddaughter celebrated her birthday during our stay and really enjoyed the collection of books, puzzles, riding toys and even the children-friendly eating utensils. We will be back!"

  • Beautiful, relaxing, has everything

"The house was beautiful and had all modern amenities wifi, cable. Comfortable beds. Lovely gas fireplaces. Fully stocked with linens, paper products, kitchen essentials. Great location...Close to town but also close to other shops, restaurants in Fort Ann area. We stayed here with another couple and 5 young children and thoroughly enjoyed it."
