  • Perfect Blue Ridge Retreat

"What a lovely house, we loved the woody atmosphere, the equipped kitchen, and the netted patio in front of a grove that blinks with fireflies at night (July). This place has a lot of soul! close to two amazing breweries and all the beautiful outdoors in the closeby mountain range. The owners (very friendly and helpful / answer e-mail quickly) even put a binder on the table with helpful documentation, which was great. I can not recommend this rental enough!!! Arnaud (visited for 3 nights with friends, coming from DC)"

  • Beautiful, Rustic, and Cozy

"We stayed here for a girls getaway in April. The house ended up being perfect for our group. It is very cozy yet spacious. The weather was great and so was the property. We were looking for a good hike and ended up finding one right in the back yard that led to a beautiful waterfall, it was amazing. The house is very pretty and rustic and the two large living spaces are great for everyone to hang out together. It has all of the appliances and utensils you need to cook in which we did for 2 of our 3 nights. It is also conveniently close to wineries and restaurants. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again!"

  • Scenic private setting with close trail access.

"Great place! The house was perfect for our vacation. Easy to check into with key in lockbox. Beautiful setting with a trail to the waterfall right behind the house. Spent three days hiking in Shenandoah National Park where we saw waterfalls, amazing scenic vista from summit of Hightop trail, deer, a bobcat, and four black bears. Charlottesville is about an hour away where we visited Monticello and University of Virginia. The house was clean and set up with everything we needed. Loved the large dinning table and that it was "dog friendly". Best to arrive in daylight as road to house is excellent but at top of mountain so it is winding."

  • Great get away weekend

"We were looking for a get away for our 40th anniversary and this cozy rental was perfect. The view of the mountains and the sunrise from the balcony was magnificent! We enjoyed hiking and exploring. The resort staff was very friendly and the restaurants were great. The owner was very responsive and great to work with. New carpet was just installed and the condo was well stocked with everything you might need. We are already talking about going back in the fall to enjoy the leaves."
