  • Everything was Awesome!

"Some great family friends joined us for a post-Christmas getaway to the mountains, specifically Bear Crossing. The house was absolutely fantastic!!! The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for star gazing on cold nights. When we weren't out sightseeing, our four teenagers rarely left the downstairs playroom area where they played one game of pool after another, repeatedly topped their high scores on the arcade style video game, and we all had some pretty serious team dart competitions. The large kitchen was perfect for food preparation and having lazy dinners and card games. The beds were very comfortable and everything was quite clean. We sort of hated having to leave when our vacation was over. If ever I've stayed in a 5-star rental home, this is definitely it."

  • A well appointed home, and perfect for dogs!

"What a delightful cabin! It is at the end of a long dirt/gravel road, which is hard packed and well maintained, and therefore not difficult to drive. It is secluded and very private, with a large dog pen in the front yard, and a smaller pen behind the house, which is accessed from the utility room, and therefore very convenient. Our medium-sized dog was also delighted with the low windows, which allowed her to see the yard at all times. The king bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is exceptionally nice for a rental. It has two double sinks, a shower, and a nice claw foot soaking tub. The kitchen is unbelievably well-appointed. The pots and pans are good quality. There are plenty of nice dishes, glasses, and mugs. The small appliances include a crockpot, mixer, blender, immersion blender, toaster, microwave/convection oven, coffeemaker, and others I may have missed. The electric stove is bettter than most. There are a few spices/herbs in the cabinet.... enough to to get by, for sure. The only drawback is the distance to town. Not a problem, but you want to make sure you have everything you need before you arrive."
