  • Great for family bonding

"We rented this cabin for President’s Day and had a very good time. The owner was very accommodating, the cabin is cozy and has everything you might need, including washer and dryer, which is nice in the winter time, especially when it’s pouring rain. White Pass is 12 miles away and is a nice little resort for beginning skiers (+ there is a child care center). The cabin is in a cul-de-sac so it’s safe for kids to play, it’s in the woods and there is a little stream, so it’s just perfect. There is no wifi and close to no phone service; we could do texts but that’s it, which was great! The hot tub is really nice, and big, the house warms up really fast. We had the 3 kids sleep in the loft (there could have been a 4th child up there but… we only have 3!), and us parents slept on the couch in the living room. We put the mattress on the floor, it was super comfortable and SO quiet, we slept like babies, 12 hours per night. I hope we will go back again."

  • Wild Salmon Retreat in Packwood WA

"Location was perfect for visiting both Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier. Cabin was comfortable, clean and had all the essentials that were needed. Beds were extremely comfortable. Since our stay was short we didn't get to use the hot tub or enjoy the inside/outside fire. Debbie was great to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Packwood and the cabin. The instructions for getting to the cabin need to be updated as they indicated the cabin was 2 miles from a Shell Station that is no longer a Shell Station."

  • Comfortable home-away-from-home.

"Shannon was friendly and helpful on emails (gave a great recommendation for a winery to visit - Martin Scotts). The house is well laid-out - spacious bedrooms and very comfortable beds. The kitchen is big and it was easy to have three people in there making dinner. The backyard patios are lovely and we had our morning coffees and dinners out there for both of the days we had. Though you are in a housing development neighbhorhood, it is quiet and the high fence in the backyard gives you a sense of being more secluded. And the fact that the back is open to a beautiful, expansive view also helps with that. We enjoyed our time at the house, and in Wentachee, thoroughly. Do check out the Apple Loop trail that goes along the river - it was a great walk that you can make as long or as short as you want."

  • Great stay

"I stayed here with my wife and my parents. The pictures don't do the place justice. You are right on the river and secluded in the mountains. The place is very quiet, great views. We will definitely be staying again, and I can't recommend it enough."
