  • Our Family Christmas Getaway

"We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights and had a wonderful time! This was our 1st time at the lodge, we typically head tot he mountains to celebrate Christmas away from the hustle and bustle. The lodge was perfect for our family of 9 adults and 7 children. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, a true mountain lodge! A very well equipped kitchen, large dining area, this is a great family getaway spot. Our kids and grandkids had a wonderful time."

  • Wonderful for a winter getaway for 2 couples

"This cabin was a perfect size for 4 people (and allowed us to bring our dog!). The kitchen is stocked with every utensil you can think of, and there was some extra travel sized toiletries in the bathroom. Conveniently located near winter activities and the river running along it provides great ambiance and drowns out the sound of the highway. If you are looking for a grocery store you'll need to drive 15 miles so make sure you grab everything you need if you don't want to go on a mission during your stay."

  • Perfect family get-away location

"This is an ideal cabin for a get-away -- any time of year. My family spent a 3-day weekend here in January. It is less than a half-hour to Stevens Pass (sure beats the 2-hour drive from our house in Seattle), and there are many other great attractions even closer. We found a great secluded logging road nearby (closed in the winter) that my kids spent hours sledding down. The cabin itself is great and Jill & Bob could not be better hosts. Communication before our arrival was great, they were very flexible and OK with our early arrival, and everything was all ready for us when we got there. They lined up discounted lift tickets at Stevens, and were more than happy to take my call on a Saturday night to answer questions about operating the fireplace! The location is beautiful even in the winter, and I can only imagine that it is amazing in the summer. We Pacific Northwesterners are lucky to have myriad choices of nearby vacation destinations, and I would definitely return to this one."

  • Accurate listing, adventure awaits!

"My family stayed at the cabin after our wedding. My youngest dog has never been more excited as he ran around the property, exploring trails and freedom. My older dog was able to navigate most of the property despite her hip probl. This was a fantastic retreat from the city. The grocery store in Gold Bar had everything we needed to stay in the mountains for a week. The sights were breathtaking, especially in the hot tub at sunset!"
