  • Perfect getaway, a true home away.

"This lake house was more than what I was expecting. Spacious common areas upstairs, down stairs, decks, and a large lake front. If you're looking to disconnect from work and recharge, this is the place to do it at."

  • View is amazing!

"The chalet sits within feet of the beautiful river with a large deck for enjoying the view. There is a nice gas grill, upholstered swing, small fire pit and side chairs on the deck. The kitchen/dining/living room are open allowing for views of the river from the inside and good flow for relaxing. Location is an easy 10 minute drive to downtown North Bend for dining and shopping with a cute general store, 9 hole golf course and restaurant within a few minutes of the chalet. Chalet was clean and beds very comfortable. Upstairs loft is very large with a tall queen bed and twin sleigh bed so chalet easily sleeps 5. Caution that the only bathroom is downstairs and there is a tight spiral staircase from the loft. My sister and I slept upstairs so it worked fine but my elderly parents wouldn't have been able to do it."

  • Just a wonderful place and experience!

"This is the second time we've stayed with Charlotte Baker. Here are the main points. 1. Wonderful location. Central to Redmond Town Center and superb Saturday Farmer's Market. Right by the Sammamish River Trail. Shops and restaurants. 2. Wonderful and thoughtful host. Charlotte thought of and provided everything for comfort and convenience. Pots and pans, dishes, wifi, TV, washer/dryier, jjust everything to make one feel at home. Plus, the place is absolutely charming with a French theme! Just like being in a cozy Parisian retreat with all the comforts of home. 3. We love the skylights in the kitchen and bathroom. Worth a climb to the 3rd level. 4. She also provided bikes, plus helmets. We did not use them, but others who want to explore the area (trail to Woodinville) will find them useful. 5. Charlotte checks in with us when we arrived to make sure we were fine. She was there to provide anything else we might need, but of course she already anticipated every need. Would definitely stay with her again and again!"

  • Wonderful retreat in the Pacific Northwest

"What a wonderful property!! My family held a reunion at the Wallace Falls Log Lodge in June 2016. The lodge was perfect for our family of 20 adults and two children. No one felt crowded, plenty of space for everyone. The property had so much to offer.....from the out building for karaoke and dancing, to the covered patio for outdoor dining, the hot tub, fire pit for making s'mores, horseshoe game, plus the grassy area for frisbee/soccer/whiffle ball. We also took advantage of the fact that we were next to Wallace Falls State Park. We were able to hike into the park several times to see the falls. A group also took advantage of the availability of white water rafting from Gold Bar. The property managers were available whenever we had a question. The house is well stocked with everything you may need during your stay. I highly recommend this property as a destination for a family reunion, wedding, or retreat!! From the time I first contacted the owner to the time we checked out, everything was top notch!"
