  • Great location!

"We enjoyed our stay here. Never had a problem parking in this quiet neighborhood. We loved that we were close to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. We prefer not to eat out for all our meals while on vacation. However we did go to Lefty's twice during our stay. Great burgers fries and fried pickle chips. Yes the train whistle is loud and the first night was rough but we were quite used to it by the end of our stay. We loved Chambers park and Titlow park which are both close by. Also the Nisqually Nature preserve was worth the visit. This was our second trip to Washington. We love it here! The hosts are very accommodating and the apartment is very cozy and comfortable. It was a relaxing stay. I sat outside and watched the seals and birds while my husband stayed inside and read his book when we weren't out sight seeing."

  • Sweet little beach house!

"We very much enjoyed our stay! It was a great place to watch the storms roll in and the sea birds harvesting bivalves on the beach. Nicely appointed, cozy, and full of interesting art."

  • Great place - would stay again.

"We were a fairly large group - 11 people for 2 nights, and 13 for one night - all adults. Rented the entire "complex" - main house, basement, RV & guest house. I was a little concerned when we first arrived because it not a very large house, but it is roomier on the inside than it looks. It got a little tight sometimes when we were all hanging out in the kitchen/dining room, but most places would be tight with 11 or 12 people in them. :) The bunk beds in the upstairs bedroom are not ideal for an adult, but for a short stay, or for kids they work. Plenty of room to gather outside, although for us the weather didn't cooperate very well! Philip was great to work with - he checked in with me every day via text to make sure things were OK, and when I mentioned a couple of little things the house could use he showed up with them an hour later! The house is well stocked, the towels, and the bedding are very nice. The location/neighborhood is nice and it was very quiet even on the weekend. There are grocery stores, fast food restaurants, and sit down restaurants very close, 5-10 minute drive. We were all over there for a family wedding and it was great to be able to all stay in one location - gave us a lot of family time. Everyone commented on how they could easily live in the house if it were an option. Very comfortable and homey feeling. Highly recommend it and since we have family over there we may very well be renting it again! Thanks again for your hospitality Philip!"

  • Spectacular views, spacious and open environment, beautifully renovated, all the creature comforts

"Very well maintained property. The views are simply spectacular and on a clear day you can see the snow topped Olympia Mountain range. The water views are stunning as you crest the hill at 19th and drive to property. Backyard water views to die for. It was a special "cation" house as my 4 year old grandson calls it. It was nice to treat them to a new place to stay. I hesitate none in recommending this home to anyone wanting a water view of the Puget Sound and a newly renovated home to stay in. Spotless, gorgeous."
